A visual training system comprising: a software program on a computer readable medium for use with a computer and a monitor, the program having a first routine for evaluating at least one visual skill of a user and assigning an appraisal to that evaluated at least one visual skill, a second routine for training that at least one skill, and a third routine for guiding the user through the use of the first routine and the second routine to evaluate and train the user's at least one visual skill.
