Abstract

A shock mitigation suspension structure of a ceiling fan, with the structure, vibrations and noise may be reduced. The shock mitigation suspension structure is used for hanging a ceiling fan on a ceiling, the ceiling fan has a pole; the shock mitigation suspension structure substantially includes a fixing frame, a bowl-shaped underprop, a fixing plate and a shock damping unit; wherein the shock damping unit is disposed in the bowl-shaped underprop and the pole goes through the shock damping unit; the fixing plate is positioned at one end of the pole going through the shock damping unit, and the fixing plate presses and resists a top surface of the shock damping unit. With the configuration, vibrations produced in rotation of the ceiling fan are transferred to the shock damping unit via the fixing plate, and the shock damping unit absorbs the vibrations. Thus noise produced from the vibrations may be reduced and life of the ceiling fan may be longer.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A shock mitigation suspension structure used for hanging a ceiling fan on a ceiling comprising: a fixing frame, a bowl-shaped underprop, a fixing plate, and a shock damping unit;
 wherein the fixing frame is fixed with the ceiling, and the bowl-shaped underprop is housed in the fixing frame, and a bottom surface of the bowl-shaped underprop has a through-hole going through the bowl-shaped underprop; the fixing plate is fixing at one end of the pole, and the pole extends into the bowl-shaped underprop; the shock damping unit is disposed between an inside edge of the bowl-shaped underprop and a bottom edge of the fixing plate, and the shock damping unit can reduce vibration.

       2 . The shock mitigation suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein a below inside edge of the fixing frame is formed as an arc supporting surface going through the fixing frame and the arc supporting surface has a cut for the pole of the ceiling fan passing through.

       3 . The shock mitigation suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein a below inside edge of the fixing frame is formed as an arc supporting surface and an outside edge of the bowl-shaped underdrop is formed as an arc surface matching with the arc supporting surface, when the bowl-shaped underdrop is accommodated in the fixing frame, the arc supporting surface and the arc surface matches with each other and the bowl-shaped underdrop is positioned automatically.

       4 . The shock mitigation suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein an inside edge of the through-hole of the bowl-shaped underdrop has an annular groove and a soft pad is disposed for nesting the annular groove to prevent the vibrations of the pole from being transferred to the bowl-shaped underdrop.

       5 . The shock mitigation suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein the shock damping unit is selected from material of rubber, foam, airbag and liquid bag.

       6 . The shock mitigation suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein the shock damping unit is designed in wave shape to reduce contacting area with the other members and absorb vibrations much more.

       7 . The shock mitigation suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein, a pole-shaped bolt is formed flatly near top end of the pole, top inside edge of the bowl-shaped underdrop has two opposite embedded grooves and a pad is disposed in the embedded groove for housing and resisting the pole-shaped bolt of the pole, to position the pole-shaped bolt and absorb vibrations.

       8 . The shock mitigation suspension structure according to claim 7 , wherein a stopping member is disposed in the bowl-shaped underdrop and near the embed groove, for stopping or positioning the pole-shaped bolt.

       9 . The shock mitigation suspension structure according to claim 7 , wherein the pad is selected from material of rubber and foam.
