Ponytail hairnet

Abstract

A novel hairnet of two embodiments; the first embodiment comprises two connected enclosures for enclosing and securing hair on the wearer's head, wherein one of the enclosures accommodating a ponytail extending from the back of the wearer's head. In the second embodiment the hairnet comprises two connected enclosures, wherein one of the enclosures accommodates a ponytail extending from the top of the wearer's head. The connected enclosures may be joined by an elastic band.

1 . A hairnet comprising a first plenum for receiving a first volume of the wearer's hair, joined by an elastic juncture to a second plenum adapted to receive a second volume of the wearer's hair, whereby all of the wearer's hair is enclosed, and the elastic juncture may be contracted or expanded to receive the wearer's hair. 
     
     
         2 . The hairnet of  claim 1 , wherein the first plenum and the second plenum are comprised of a net. 
     
     
         3 . The hairnet of  claim 1 , wherein the second plenum is adapted to receive the second volume of hair, the second volume of hair emanating from the back of the wearer's head. 
     
     
         4 . The hairnet of  claim 1 , wherein the second plenum is adapted to receive the second volume of hair, the second volume of hair emanating from the top of the wearer's head.
