Product display

Abstract

A product display for selling household fixtures includes a display base, at least one wall provided adjacent the base, and a room mockup provided on said display base adjacent said at least one wall. The room mockup includes various display elements representing the household fixtures, and at least one of the display elements included has a set of alternate design features associated therewith. A selection pallet can be provided adjacent the room mockup. The selection pallet includes samples of alternate design features for the display elements.

1 . A product display provided to sell household fixtures, comprising:
 a display base;   at least one wall provided adjacent said display base; and   a room mockup provided on said display base adjacent said at least one wall, wherein said room mockup includes display elements representing the household fixtures.   
   
   
       2 . A product display according to  claim 1 , wherein at least one of said display elements included in said room mockup has a set of alternate design features associated therewith. 
   
   
       3 . A product display according to  claim 2 , wherein said room mockup includes a set of said alternate design features for said display elements, wherein an alternate design feature of one set is coordinated with an alternate design feature of another set. 
   
   
       4 . A product display according to  claim 3 , wherein said alternate design features comprise materials, colors, finishes, ornamentation, patterns, and textures. 
   
   
       5 . A product display according to  claim 1 , wherein said display elements comprise at least one cabinet door, a cabinet drawer facer, and a countertop. 
   
   
       6 . A product display according to  claim 5 , wherein alternate design features available for said at least one cabinet door comprise materials, colors, finishes, ornamentation, and textures. 
   
   
       7 . A product display according to  claim 5 , wherein alternate design features available for said cabinet drawer facer comprise materials, colors, finishes, ornamentation, and textures. 
   
   
       8 . A product display according to  claim 5 , wherein said alternate design features available for said countertop comprise materials, colors, finishes, patterns, and textures. 
   
   
       9 . A product display according to  claim 5 , wherein said display elements further comprise flooring, a cabinet base, crown molding, and cabinet hardware. 
   
   
       10 . A product display according to  claim 1 , further comprising a selection pallet provided adjacent said room mockup, said selection pallet including samples of alternate design features for said display elements. 
   
   
       11 . A product display according to  claim 10 , wherein said samples include an alternate material choice for one of said display elements, an alternate color choice for one of said display elements, an alternate finish choice for one of said display elements, an alternate ornamentation choice for one of said display elements, an alternate pattern choice for one of said display elements, and an alternate texture choice for one of said display elements. 
   
   
       12 . A method of merchandising household fixtures, comprising:
 displaying a plurality of room mockups;   including various display elements in each of the room mockups;   representing the household fixtures using the various display elements;   providing alternate design features for the various display elements; and   selecting from the alternate design features for the various display elements to determine the configuration of the household fixtures being purchased.   
   
   
       13 . A method of merchandising according to  claim 12 , further comprising displaying at least one selection pallet including samples of the alternate design features for the various display elements. 
   
   
       14 . A method of merchandising according to  claim 13 , further comprising selecting from the samples of the alternate design features included on the at least one selection pallet to determine the configuration of the household fixtures being purchased. 
   
   
       15 . A method of merchandising according to  claim 12 , wherein the alternate design features comprise materials, colors, finishes, ornamentation, patterns, and textures. 
   
   
       16 . A method of merchandising according to  claim 12 , wherein the display elements include at least one cabinet door, a cabinet drawer facer, a countertop. 
   
   
       17 . A method of merchandising according to  claim 16 , wherein the display elements further comprise flooring, a cabinet base, crown molding, and cabinet hardware. 
   
   
       18 . A product display provided to sell household fixtures, comprising:
 a display base;   a plurality of room mockups provided on said display base; and   selection pallets provided adjacent each of said room mockups, wherein said room mockups include display elements having alternate design features associated therewith, and said selection pallets include samples for said alternate design features.   
   
   
       19 . A product display according to  claim 18 , wherein said alternate design features comprise materials, colors, finishes, ornamentation, patterns, and textures. 
   
   
       20 . A product display according to  claim 19 , wherein said samples include an alternate material choice for one of said display elements, an alternate color choice for one of said display elements, an alternate finish choice for one of said display elements, an alternate ornamentation choice for one of said display elements, an alternate pattern choice for one of said display elements, and an alternate texture choice for one of said display elements.
