Abstract

The present invention relates to a tension control device of a twist pay-off system, especially a triple twist system, which uses mechanical control devices to keep the wires and strands in constant tension to produce qualified cables. The twist pay-off system mainly includes a constant control device and a tension reducer device, both of which have an active arm, a weight and several wheels for guiding the wires and the cables. By use of the weight under attraction of gravity, the devices can control the transport speed and keep them in a related constant tension all the time.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A tension control device of a triple twist pay-off system including a raw supplier, a constant tension control device, a twist station, a tension reducer device, and a final product roller, and the characters are the constant tension control device includes a frame and several guide wheels, an active arm having one end pivot to the frame and the other end connect another wheel and a weight, and the tension reducer device includes a frame and several wheels, an active arm having one end pivot to the frame and the other end connect another wheel and a weight;
 wires provided from the raw supplier entering into the constant tension control device that pass through the wheels and then enter into the twist station to be twisted a strand or a cable, which then enters into the tension reducer device that passes through the wheels, and moves to a shaft of the product roller.

       2 . The tension control device of a triple twist pay-off system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein both active arms of the constant tension control device and tension reducer device can be swung to keep the wires and the cables in a related constant tension.
