Abstract

A cylinder shape transportation bag, for a tank or cylinder filled with gas or liquid being transported in a vehicle; comprising of a bag made of light weight and durable material with straps securing the tank or cylinder inside the vehicle and a drawstring to tighten the bag to the surface of the tank or cylinder, and a non-skid bottom to prevent slips and slides inside a vehicle.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A cylinder shape bag for the transportation of a tank or cylinder filled with gas or liquid substances inside a vehicle comprising:
 (a) A fitted one-piece nylon or polypropylene bag, sized and shaped to conform to the size and shape of a tank or cylinder of gas or liquid and adapted to precisely accommodate and firmly hold the tank or cylinder inside the bag covering whole surface or walls of the tank or cylinder except handles. (b) The bag is equipped with three straps in the middle and around the tank or cylinder to hold the tank or cylinder firmly with a vehicle seat. (c) There is a drawstring at the top of the bag to tighten the bag to the surface or walls of the tank or cylinder thereby providing a firm and stable base for straps which are used by the seat belt to hold the tank or cylinder firm on the passenger seat. (d) The bottom of the bag is equipped with a thin piece of plastic attached to a non-skid fabric to prevent the tank or cylinder from slipping or sliding and thereby avoiding scratches or scarring to a vehicle seat as well as to give long life to the bag which is frequently exposed to shake ups and rubbings during the drive. (e) The bag provides the transportation means to most commonly used tanks or cylinders such as Barbecue gas tank or cylinder, Propane gas tank or cylinder, Flammable gas tank or cylinder, Liquid gas tank or cylinder, Natural gas tank or cylinder, Oxygen tank or cylinder, Fire Extinguisher cylinder, Water tank etc.

2 . The invention as defined in claim 1 wherein the bag is created in a cylinder shape bag or cover to precisely accommodate and firmly hold the tank or cylinder of gas or liquid inside the bag.

3 . The invention as defined in claim 1 to 2 wherein the bag is made of a light weight nylon or polypropylene which does not add much weight to the tank or cylinder to facilitate easy carrying.

4 . The invention as defined in claim 1 to 3 wherein the said bag is constructed of a fabric (nylon or polypropylene) which provides a strong and durable means and avoids ripping, tearing and cracking as a result of keeping a tank or cylinder inside the bag.

5 . The invention as defined in claim 1 to 4 wherein the said bag does not allow any substance to seep out or drop out of the bag to avoid damages to the vehicle seat.

6 . The invention as defined in claim 1 to 5 wherein the said bag is made of a color which hides the dirt and dust and looks neat in carrying.

7 . The invention as defined in claim 1 wherein the bag is equipped with three straps in the middle or around the bag to provide a means for vehicle seat belt to pass through in order to hold the tank or cylinder firm to the vehicle seat.

8 . The invention defined in claim 7 above wherein the straps are placed at such a height or distance as to provide firm grip to the seat belt in order to hold the tank or cylinder firm with the vehicle seat.

9 . The invention defined in claim 1 , 7 and 8 above wherein the front strap is placed slightly higher than the two back straps in order to create the “locking mechanism” of the tank or cylinder with the vehicle seat.

10 . The invention defined in claim 1 , 7 , 8 and 9 above wherein these straps are made with strong enforcement so as to provide a strong hold and avoid ripping, breaking or torning.

11 . The invention defined in claim 1 , 7 , 8 , 9 and 10 above wherein the length and wideness of straps are adequately made to allow a standard vehicle seat belt to pass through and stay firm.

12 . The invention as defined in claim 1 above wherein there is a drawstring at the top of the bag to tighten the bag to the surface of the tank or cylinder thereby providing a firm and stable base for straps which are used by the seat belt to hold the tank or cylinder firm on the passenger seat.

13 . The invention as defined in claim 1 and 12 above wherein the drawstring is created in a way for handles to be open and visible on the tank or cylinder for carrying purposes.

14 . The invention as defined in claim 1 , 12 and 13 wherein the drawstring seals the space of the tank or cylinder below the handles to protect from any dirt or dust of tank or cylinder coming inside the vehicle on the seat.

15 . The invention as defined in claim 1 , 12 , 13 and 14 wherein the bottom of the bag is equipped with a thin piece of plastic attached to a non-skid fabric to prevent the tank or cylinder from slipping or sliding and thereby avoiding scratches or scarring to a vehicle seat.

16 . The invention as defined in claim 1 , 12 , 13 , 14 and 15 wherein the non-skid bottom is created to allow the tank or cylinder to sit well on a vehicle seat.

17 . The invention as defined in claim 1 , 12 , 13 , 14 , 15 and 16 wherein the reinforced plastic and non-skid fabric in the bottom add durability of the bag which is frequently exposed to wear and tear due to constant shake ups and rubbing in the vehicle.
