Abstract

The invention relates to a radiation curable composition comprising relative to the total weight of the composition (A) 0-29 wt % of a cationically curable component having a linking aliphatic ester group, (B) 10-85 wt % of an epoxygroup containing component other than A, (C) 1-50 wt % of an oxetanegroup containing component, (D) 1-25 wt % of a multifunctional acrylate and a radical photoinitiator and a cationic photoinitiator.

         24 . A radiation curable composition comprising, relative to the total weight of the composition: 
 a. 1-29 wt % of an oxetane;    b. 10-85 wt % of a component selected from the group consisting of:

 iii/ epoxy that is different from i/ and ii/, and,  
 iv/ mixture thereof,  
   c. 1-30 wt % of a multifunctional acrylate compound,    d. a free-radical photoinitiator, and    e. a cationic photoinitiator.    
     
     
         25 . The radiation curable composition according to  claim 24 , wherein said oxetane compound contains at least one oxetane ring.  
     
     
         26 . The radiation curable composition according to  claim 24 , wherein said composition further comprises polyfunctional radically polymerizable compound.  
     
     
         27 . The radiation curable composition according to  claim 24 , wherein said composition further comprises a polyol compound.  
     
     
         28 . The radiation curable composition according to  claim 24 , wherein said composition further comprises a pigment.  
     
     
         29 . The radiation curable composition according to  claim 24 , wherein said composition further comprises a dye.  
     
     
         30 . The radiation curable composition according to  claim 24 , wherein said composition further comprises a filler.  
     
     
         31 . A radiation curable composition used for photo-fabrication of three-dimensional objects comprising: 
 a. an oxetane compound having one oxetane ring;    b. a linking aliphatic ester epoxy having a linking aliphatic ester group and two cyclohexeneoxide groups;    c. a polyfunctional radically polymerizable compound;    d. a polymeric hydroxyl-containing material;    e. another polyfunctional radically polymerizable compound;    f. a free-radical photoinitiator;    g. a cationic photoinitiator; and    h. one or more additives.    
     
     
         32 . A radiation curable composition used for photo-fabrication of three-dimensional objects comprising, relative to the total weight of the composition: 
 a. 1-50 wt % of 3-ethyl-3-hydroxymethyl oxetane;    b. 10-85 wt % of epoxycyclohexylmethyl-3,4-epoxycyclohexanecarboxylate;    c. 1-30 wt % of EO-modified pentaerythritol tetraacrylate;    d. At least 5 wt % of glycerol propoxylate-B-ethoxylate triol;    e. 1-30 wt % of both-terminal (meth)acrylic acid adduct of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether, wherein the total wt % of c) and e) does not exceed 30 wt %;    f. 0.1-15 wt % of a free-radical photoinitiator 1-hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone;    g. 0.1-15 wt % of a cationic photoinitiator sulfonium(thiol di-4,1-phenylene)bis[diphenyl-bis[(OC-6-11)hexafluoroantimonate(1-)]; and    h. One or more additives selected from the group consisting of dyes, pigments, fillers, antioxidants, wetting agents, leveling agents, defoamers, surfactants, stabilizers.    
     
     
         33 . A radiation curable composition comprising, relative to the total weight of the composition: 
 a. 1-29 wt % of an oxetane;    b. 10-85 wt % of a component selected from the group consisting of 
 i/ linking aliphatic ester epoxy,  
 ii/ diglycidyl ether,  
 iii/ epoxy that is different from i/ and ii/, and,  
 iv/ mixture thereof;  
   c. 1-30 wt % of a multifunctional acrylate compound;    d. A free-radical photoinitiator;    e. A cationic photoinitiator; and    wherein said composition is substantially free of elastomeric particles.    
     
     
         34 . The radiation curable composition according to  claim 33 , wherein said oxetane compound contains at least one oxetane ring.  
     
     
         35 . The radiation curable composition according to  claim 33 , wherein said composition further comprises polyfunctional radically polymerizable compound.  
     
     
         36 . The radiation curable composition according to  claim 33 , wherein said composition further comprises a polyol compound.  
     
     
         37 . The radiation curable composition according to  claim 33 , wherein said composition further comprises a pigment.  
     
     
         38 . The radiation curable composition according to  claim 33 , wherein said composition further comprises a dye.  
     
     
         39 . The radiation curable composition according to  claim 33 , wherein said composition further comprises a filler.
