Aloe Powder, Aloe Juice, and Method for Producing the Same
Abstract
In the conventional technology, macromolecular polysaccharides, which the aloe vera gel inherently has, are broken down into small molecules for the following reasons: First, cellulose is broken down by the enzyme such as cellulose; Second, agitation in the cellulose breakdown process by the enzyme of cellulase and the like is performed in a heated state for an extended period of time; Third, nearly the same technique is employed also in the aloin absorption process by the activated charcoal; Fourth, a plurality of times of filtering causes intense oxidation to the gel juice. For the reasons described above, the molecular weight of macromolecular polysaccharides, which the aloe vera gel inherently has, is reduced to 80,000 dalton or less. Therefore, by use of the conventional technology, it is impossible to provide macromolecular polysaccharides that the aloe vera gel has in a state where aloin is removed. To solve the above-mentioned problem, we provide aloe powder which is made from aloe vera gel, characterized by that a molecular weight of polysaccharides contained in the powder is not less than 400,000 dalton and an aloin content ratio of the powder is not more than 50 ppm.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . Aloe powder which is made from aloe vera gel, characterized by that a molecular weight of polysaccharides contained in the powder is not less than 400,000 dalton and an aloin content ratio of the powder is not more than 50 ppm.
2 . The aloe powder according to claim 1 , wherein the aloe powder according to claim 1 is formed to have an average particle size of not more than 100 μm.
3 . The aloe powder according to claim 1 , wherein the aloe powder according to claim 1 is formed to have a chlorine content percentage of not more than 2.5%.
4 . A method for producing aloe powder, characterized by that a molecular weight of polysaccharides contained in powder is not less than 400,000 dalton and an aloin content ratio of the powder is not more than 50 ppm, the powder being obtained in such a manner that a gel of aloe vera is immersed in either water or a very dilute solution for a predetermined period of time in either a state where only skin of the aloe vera is removed without performing crushing and agitation or a state where the skin is removed without performing crushing and agitation and the aloe vera is divided into the predetermined number of pieces, and then drying and crushing are performed after most of aloin contained in the gel before immersion is removed.

The method for producing the aloe powder according to claim 4 , wherein a molecular weight of polysaccharides contained in the powder is not less than 400,000 dalton and an aloin content ratio of the powder is not more than 50 ppm, the powder being obtained in such a manner that the gel after aloin is removed thereof in claim 4 is crushed and agitated, or is crushed and agitated after predetermined concentration, slightly remaining aloin is removed by removing cellulose through filtration, and then drying and crushing are performed.

The method for producing the aloe powder according to claim 4 , wherein a molecular weight of polysaccharides contained in powder is not less than 400,000 dalton and an aloin content ratio of the powder is not more than 50 ppm, the powder being obtained in such a manner that the gel after aloin is removed thereof in claim 4 is crushed and agitated, or is crushed and agitated after predetermined concentration is performed, an activated charcoal is mixed in and agitated, slightly remaining aloin is adsorbed in the activated charcoal, the activated charcoal having aloin adsorbed therein is removed by filtration, and then drying and crushing are performed.

The method for producing the aloe powder according to claim 4 , wherein a molecular weight of polysaccharides contained in powder is not less than 400,000 dalton and an aloin content ratio of the powder is not more than 50 ppm, the powder being obtained in such a manner that the gel after aloin is removed thereof in claim 4 is crushed and agitated, or is crushed and agitated after predetermined concentration is performed, cellulose is removed by filtration, an activated charcoal is mixed in the gel having cellulose removed thereof and agitated, slightly remaining aloin is adsorbed in the activated charcoal, the activated charcoal having aloin adsorbed therein is removed by filtration, and then drying and crushing are performed.

The method for producing the aloe powder according to claim 4 , wherein gel containing macromolecular polysaccharides such as macromolecular mannose and macromolecular glucose which are specifically contained in gel of aloe vera that cannot be conventionally dried to a low moisture content percentage is dried to a low moisture content percentage of not more than 5% by setting the gel that has aloin removed thereof in claim 4 in a vacuum tank, performing either microwave heating or simultaneous heating with microwave and far infrared rays, under reduced pressure, and then drying the gel by uniform heating with the microwave and it is made possible to convert gel of aloe vera, which contains macromolecular polysaccharides having a molecular weight of not less than 400,000 dalton, into powder or to reduce size of the powder.
9 . The method for producing the aloe powder according to claim 4 , wherein the powder obtained by drying and crushing the gel after aloin is removed thereof in claim 4 is formed to have an average particle size of not more than 100 μm and absorption efficiency into human body is improved.
10 . Materials of medical ingredients, health care, pharmaceutical, food, drink and cosmetics, characterized by that the aloe powder according to claim 1 is used either as it is, or by being dissolved in either water or a predetermined solution.
11 . Aloe juice which is made from aloe vera gel, characterized by that a molecular weight of polysaccharides contained in the juice is not less than 400,000 dalton and
12 . The aloe juice according to claim 11 , wherein the aloe juice according to claim 11 is formed to have a chlorine content ratio of not more than 250 ppm.

A method for producing aloe juice, characterized by that a molecular weight of polysaccharides contained in juice is not less than 400,000 dalton and an aloin content ratio of the juice is not more than 10 ppm, the juice being obtained in such a manner that gel of aloe vera is immersed in either water or a very dilute solution for a predetermined period of time in either a state where only skin of the aloe vera is removed without performing crushing and agitation, or a state where the skin is removed without performing crushing and agitation and the aloe vera is divided into the predetermined number of pieces, and then most of the aloin contained in the gel before immersion is removed, and any of the following process is accompanied: crushing and agitation are performed; or concentration is performed after crushing and agitation; or crushing and agitation are performed after concentration.

The method for producing the aloe juice according to claim 13 , wherein a molecular weight of polysaccharides contained in juice is not less than 400,000 dalton and an aloin content ratio of the juice is not more than 10 ppm, the juice being obtained in such a manner that cellulose is removed by filtration after any of the following process: the gel in a state where aloin is removed thereof in claim 13 is crushed and agitated; the foregoing gel is concentrated after being crushed and agitated; or the foregoing gel is crushed and agitated after being concentrated.

The method for producing the aloe juice according to claim 12 , wherein a molecular weight of polysaccharides contained in the juice is not less than 400,000 dalton and an aloin content ratio of the juice is not more than 10 ppm, the juice being obtained in such a manner that at a concentration stage, where predetermined moisture is removed by setting the gel, in the state where aloin is removed in claim 13 , in a vacuum tank, and applying to the gel either microwave heating or simultaneous heating with microwave and far infrared rays, under reduced pressure and drying the gel by uniform heating with the microwave, the aloe juice being concentrated through heating of the gel with an upper limit of 90° C. is performed for a predetermined period of time by increasing a pressure level while continuing the microwave heating, thereby enzyme deactivation and sterilization are carried out for the gel within a concentration process.
