Abstract
A method and system to generate a portable contract document are provided. The system may include a description module, a price module and a contract document generator. The description module may be configured to receive, from a potential buyer, identification information associated with a sale item. The price module may be configured to receive, from the potential buyer, a price information associated with the sale item. The contract document generator may be configured to respond to a request by the potential buyer by automatically generating a contract document for a sale of the sale item, utilizing the identification information and the price information.

a description module to receive, from a potential buyer, identification information associated with a sale item; a price module to receive, from the potential buyer, a price information associated with the sale item; and a contract document generator to respond to a request by the potential buyer by automatically generating a contract document for a sale of the sale item, utilizing the identification information and the price information.
2 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a verification module to provide verification information associated with the contract document.
3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the verification module is to respond to a verification request from the potential buyer by providing the verification information associated with the contract document.
4 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the verification module is to provide title verification information for the sale item, the sale item being a motor vehicle.
5 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the verification module is to provide verification information associated with a seller of the sale item.
6 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising an additional services module to provide a selection of an additional service associated with the sale item.
7 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a funding options module to receive a selection of a funding source.
8 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the contract generator is to utilize the funding source information to generate the contract document.
9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the contract generator is to include a designation of an electronic payment processing service into the contract document.
10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the electronic payment processing service includes a chargeback capability.
11 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a communications module to make the contract document available to the potential buyer.
12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the communications module is to forward the contract document to one or more sellers.
13 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the contract document is a portable contract document, the portable contract document being not specific to a particular seller.
14 . A computer-implemented method, the method comprising:
receiving, from a potential buyer, identification information associated with a sale item; receiving, from the potential buyer, a price information associated with the sale item; and responding to a request from the potential buyer by automatically generating a contract document for a sale of the sale item, utilizing the identification information and the price information, to allow the potential buyer to distribute the generated contract document to a seller of the sale item.
15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising providing verification information associated with the contract document.
16 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising responding to a verification request from the potential buyer by providing title verification information for the sale item, the sale item being a motor vehicle.
17 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising responding to a request from the potential buyer by providing verification information associated with a seller of the sale item.
18 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising suggesting to the potential buyer an additional service associated with the sale item.
19 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising:
receiving, from the potential buyer, a selection of a funding source; and utilizing the selected funding source information in the generating of the contract document.
20 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising forwarding the contract document to one or more sellers.
21 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising including a designation of an electronic payment processing service into the contract document.
22 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising displaying a capped fee associated with the electronic payment processing service.
23 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the electronic payment processing service includes a chargeback capability.
24 . A machine-readable medium having instruction data to cause a machine to:
receive, from a potential buyer, identification information associated with a sale item; receive, from the potential buyer, a price information associated with the sale item; and respond to a request by the potential buyer by automatically generating a contract document for a sale of the sale item, utilizing the identification information and the price information.
25 . A system comprising:
