Variable Dry Wall

Abstract

The present invention provides a variable dry wall for partitioning a space in a structure into several sections. The variable dry wall of the present invention includes runners, which are respectively provided on the ceiling and the floor of the structure. A guide slot is formed in the surfaces of respective runners that face each other. The variable dry wall further includes a stud, which is inserted at opposite ends thereof into the guide slots of the respective runners, such that the opposite ends of the stud are supported by the respective runners, a fastening means, which is provided on each of the opposite ends of the stud and is locked at an end thereof to the guide slot of the corresponding runner, so that the stud is fastened to the runners, and boards, which are coupled to respective opposite surfaces of the stud using screws.

1 . A variable dry wall to partition a space in a structure, comprising:
 a pair of runners respectively provided on a ceiling and a floor of the structure, with a guide slot formed in each of surfaces of the runners that face each other;   a stud inserted at opposite ends thereof into the guide slots of the respective runners, such that the opposite ends of the stud are supported by the respective runners;   fastening means provided on each of the opposite ends of the stud and locked at an end thereof to the guide slot of the corresponding runner, so that the stud is fastened to the runners; and   a board coupled to each of opposite surfaces of the stud using screws.   
   
   
       2 . The variable dry wall as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the fastening means comprises a bolt member, having: a bolt shaft screwed into the stud; and a head pan provided on an end of the bolt shaft and unrotatably inserted into and locked to the corresponding runner. 
   
   
       3 . The variable dry wall as set forth in  claim 2 , wherein threads of the bolt members screwed into the opposite ends of the stud are formed in opposite rotational directions. 
   
   
       4 . The variable dry wall as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein at least one selected from among a thermal insulator, a sound insulator and a sound absorber is provided between the opposite boards. 
   
   
       5 . The variable dry wall as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein each of the runners is attached to each of the ceiling and the floor of the structure using an adhesive sheet.
