Abstract
The present invention relates to the use of Ulocladium oudemansii as a biological control agent. Processes and compositions for the biological control of Botrytis species using Ulocladium oudemansii are also provided.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A process for controlling a Botrytis species in a plant or plant product, the process comprising applying a composition to said plant or plant product, wherein the composition comprises, in a reproductively viable form and amount, at least one strain of Ulocladium oudemansii effective against a Botrytis species and an agriculturally acceptable carrier, diluent or adjuvant.
2 . A process for controlling a Botrytis species in a plant or plant product, the process comprising applying an effective amount of at least one strain of Ulocladium oudemansii effective against a Botrytis species.
3 . The process as claimed in claim 2 wherein the at least one strain of Ulocladium oudemansii is Ulocladium oudemansii AGAL No. NM99/06216.
4 . The process as claimed in claim 1 wherein the Botrytis species is Botrytis cinerea.
