Abstract
An apparatus for lighting. The apparatus includes a first light source. The apparatus includes a first housing in which the first light source is disposed. The apparatus includes a support structure to which the first housing is attached. The apparatus includes a reflection portion having a least two reflectors. The reflection portion attached to the support structure and in spaced relationship with the first housing such that light from the first light source is directed to desired locations. Alternatively, the apparatus includes a first light source. The apparatus includes a first housing in which the first light source is disposed. The apparatus includes a support structure to which the first light source is attached. The apparatus includes a second light source. The apparatus includes a second housing in which the second light source is disposed. The second housing attached to the support structure and in spaced relationship with the first housing. The apparatus includes a first reflector disposed with the second housing and opposing the first light source so light emitted by the first light source is reflected by the first reflector.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An apparatus for lighting comprising:
a first light source; a first housing in which the first light source is disposed; a support structure to which the first housing is attached; and a reflection portion having at least two reflectors, the reflection portion attached to the support structure and in spaced relationship with the first housing such that light from the first light source is directed to desired locations.
2 . An apparatus as described in claim 1 wherein the reflectors in the reflection portion are movable in the reflection portion so the reflectors can be moved so light is reflected by the reflectors to desired locations.
3 . An apparatus as described in claim 2 wherein the first housing has a curved or rhombohedron cross-section.
4 . An apparatus as described in claim 3 wherein the first housing includes a housing reflector which reflects light reflected from the reflection portion.
5 . An apparatus as described in claim 4 including a secondary reflector attached to the support structure and reflecting light from the light source and the housing reflector, the reflection portion disposed between the secondary reflector and the first light source.
6 . An apparatus as described in claim 5 wherein the support structure includes a second light source disposed in the first housing emitting light in a direction opposite the direction the first light source emits light, and a bottom reflector disposed adjacent to the housing and positioned to reflect light from the second light source.
7 . An apparatus as described in claim 6 wherein the reflectors in the reflection portion are motorized.
8 . A lighting apparatus comprising:
a housing having a central axis and apertures; a light source disposed in the housing; and reflectors disposed in the housing which reflect light from the light source through the apertures.
9 . An apparatus as described in claim 8 wherein the light source includes a plurality of lamps disposed symmetrically about the central axis, and wherein the reflectors are positioned in alignment with the lamps, to reflect light emitted from each lamp through the apertures in the housing.
10 . A method for lighting comprising:
attaching a first housing in which a first light source is disposed to a support structure; and attaching a reflection portion having at least two reflectors to the support structure and in spaced relationship with the first housing such that light from the first light source is directed to desired locations by the reflectors.
11 . A method for lighting comprising:
attaching a first housing in which a first light source is disposed to a support structure; and attaching a second housing in which a second light source is disposed to the support structure and in spaced relationship with the first housing, with a first reflector disposed with the second housing and opposing the first light source so light emitted by the first light source is reflected by the first reflector.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
