Abstract
A candle structure includes a candle body and a plurality of wicks. The candle body is configured with a top and bottom surface, and an outside wall that tapers substantially inward from the top surface to the bottom surface. The plurality of wicks is configured to supply air through the gaps of standing wicks that protrude from the top surface of the candle structure. The plurality of wicks extends above the body and the wicks are aligned longitudinally. The plurality of wicks is arranged radially to taper outward toward the bottom surface of the candle body.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A candle structure, comprising:
a candle body having a top and bottom surface, an outside wall that tapers substantially outward from the bottom surface to the top surface; and a plurality of wicks extending above the body, aligned longitudinally, the plurality of wicks arranged radially to taper outward toward the bottom surface of the candle body.
2 . The candle structure of claim 1 , wherein each of the wicks angles toward the center of the candle body, from the bottom to the top of a respective one of the wicks.
3 . The candle structure of claim 1 , further comprising:
a heat conductive rod extending downward from the top surface inside the plurality of wicks, wherein the heat conductive rod is configured to increase the temperature of and lower the air pressure of the air inside the plurality of wicks.
4 . The candle structure of claim 1 , further comprising:
an inside wall that tapers outward at the bottom surface, the inside wall defining a chamber.
5 . The candle structure of claim 3 , further comprising:
a heat conductive rod extending downward from a top of the chamber, wherein the heat conductive rod is configured to increase the temperature of and lower the air pressure of the air inside the plurality of wicks;
6 . The candle structure of claim 3 , further comprising:
a first circular ring containing a first plurality of apertures, each of the wicks extending through one of the first plurality of apertures; a second circular ring containing a second plurality of apertures, each of the wicks extending through one of the second plurality of apertures; and a plurality of connector beams configured to connect the first circular ring and the heat conductive rod.
7 . The candle structure of claim 1 , wherein each of the wicks has a tapered diameter from a top end toward a bottom end of the wick.
8 . The candle structure of claim 7 , wherein each wick comprises a center core, a first layer, a second layer and a third layer.
9 . The candle structure of claim 8 , wherein the first layer is braided cotton.
10 . The candle structure of claim 8 , wherein the center core is selected from: paper, stainless steel, and zinc.
11 . The candle structure of claim 8 , wherein the second and third layers are each selected from one of braided cotton and raw cotton.
12 . The candle structure of claim 1 , further comprising:
a first circular ring, wherein the first circular ring contains a plurality of substantially equidistant apertures, and each of the wicks extends through one of the apertures.
13 . The candle structure of claim 12 , wherein the first circular ring is located along the top surface of the candle body.
14 . The candle structure of claim 12 , further comprising:
a second circular ring, wherein each wick is held in alignment by the first and the second circular ring.
15 . The candle structure of claim 13 , wherein the second circular ring is located at the bottom of candle body, and is substantially larger in diameter than the first ring.
16 . The candle body of claim 1 , wherein a central portion of the candle body is constructed of a first wax with a melting point in the range of 40-60° C.
17 . The candle structure of claim 1 , wherein a peripheral portion of the candle body is constructed of a second wax with a melting point in the range of 60-90° C.
18 . The candle structure of claim 17 , wherein a portion of the candle body surrounding the plurality of wicks is constructed of the second wax
19 . The candle structure of claim 1 , further comprising a container surrounding the candle body, the container comprising:
pedestals located on the bottom surface of the container; and external fins located along an outside surface of the container, wherein the outside surface of the container has an irregular shape.
20 . The candle body of claim 1 , further comprising a container surrounding the candle body, the container comprising:
an opening located along a bottom surface of the container; pedestals located on the bottom surface of the container; and external fins located along an outside surface of the container, wherein the outside surface of the container has an irregular shape.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
