Claims

Abstract

A gaming system and associated method are provided. In use, a user of at least one gaming machine is identified. In addition, at least one other party is identified that is associated with the user utilizing a data structure, for providing interaction between the user and the at least one other party.

1 . A method, comprising: 
 identifying a user of at least one gaming machine; and    identifying at least one other party that is associated with the user utilizing a data structure, for providing interaction between the user and the at least one other party.    
   
   
       2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the association is established during a reservation.  
   
   
       3 . A method of  claim 1 , wherein the interaction includes communication.  
   
   
       4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the user of the at least one gaming machine is identified by reading the data structure from a gaming card of the user.  
   
   
       5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein identifying the user of the at least one gaming machine includes identifying a player identifier associated with the user.  
   
   
       6 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one other party includes another user of another gaming machine.  
   
   
       7 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one other party is identified by reading the data structure from a gaming card of the user.  
   
   
       8 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the data structure is established upon the user obtaining a gaming card.  
   
   
       9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the association is established manually by the user.  
   
   
       10 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the association is established based on a predetermined list.  
   
   
       11 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the user is associated with a plurality of groups.  
   
   
       12 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the at least one other party is included in at least one of the plurality of groups.  
   
   
       13 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the interaction between the user and the at least one other party is provided by a fiber optic link.  
   
   
       14 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the interaction between the user and the at least one other party is provided by a daisy chain network.  
   
   
       15 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the interaction between the user and the at least one other party is provided by a tapped configuration network.  
   
   
       16 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the interaction between the user and the at least one other party is provided by a star-type network.  
   
   
       17 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the interaction between the user and the at least one other party is provided by an Ethernet connection.  
   
   
       18 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the interaction between the user and the at least one other party is digital.  
   
   
       19 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the interaction between the user and the at least one other party is analog.  
   
   
       20 . A system, comprising: 
 a gaming card processor for identifying a user of at least one gaming machine, the gaming card processor further adapted for identifying at least one other party that is associated with the user utilizing a data structure, wherein interaction between the user and the at least one other party is provided.
