Rolling frame and method for adjusting said rolling frame
Abstract
The present invention pertains to a rolling frame comprising four support columns, which are anchored in a fixed manner to a base plate and in which are arranged axially fixed, rotatably mounted tractive spindles, whose upper and lower ends are provided with threads running in opposite directions, which receive the upper and lower cross members and by means of which the sets of rollers can be adjusted in opposite directions in relation to one another, whereby the support columns simultaneously guide the roller mountings and receive bending blocks, and a short-stroke setting cylinder arranged between the lower reinforcing roller mounting and the lower cross member for exerting a rolling force.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A rolling frame, comprising:
four support columns anchored in a fixed manner to a base plate and in which are arranged axially fixed, rotatably mounted tractive spindles, the tractive spindles each having upper and lower ends provided with threads running in opposite directions, which receive upper and lower cross members and by means of which sets of rollers can be adjusted in opposite directions in relation to one another, wherein the support columns simultaneously guide roller mountings and receive bending blocks, and a short-stroke setting cylinder arranged between a lower reinforcing roller mounting and the lower cross member for exerting a rolling force, and wherein a separation of the transmission of force to the rollers and of the guiding of the roller mountings is achieved by means of a separate arrangement of the tractive spindles and of the roller mountings in the support columns.
2 . The rolling frame in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the frame is a two-, four- or six-high rolling frame.
3 . The rolling frame in accordance with claim 1 , wherein an additional setting cylinder is arranged between the upper cross member and the adjacent cross member.
4 . The rolling frame in accordance with one of the above claims, wherein the threads of the tractive spindles are self-locking threads.
5 . A method for adjusting the rolling frame in accordance with claim 1 for rolling operation, comprising:
moving adjacent rollers towards one another and in position to the fitting line by actuating the tractive spindles in the unloaded rolling frame, and adjusting the roller setting force by means of the short-stroke setting cylinder.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
