Net stabilizer for ball games

Abstract

A net stabilizer that secures a baseball game net along the bottom border of the net to prevent the net from being blown around by the wind. The net stabilizer is releasably secured to the net at the game time and is conveniently assembled at the playing field.

1 . A net stabilizer for stabilizing a bottom border of a sports net in place, comprising:
 an elongate bag body, a distal end, a proximal end, and at least one opening at the distal end; and   fastening means secured to an exterior surface of the elongate bag body, wherein the fastening means is configured to releasably fasten the net stabilizer to the sports net.   
   
   
       2 . The net stabilizer of  claim 1 , wherein said bag body is sized and configured for loading at least one bat for baseball or softball games. 
   
   
       3 . The net stabilizer of  claim 1 , wherein said bag body comprises a plurality of compartments. 
   
   
       4 . The net stabilizer of  claim 3 , wherein each compartment has an opening for loading weighted material. 
   
   
       5 . The net stabilizer of  claim 3 , wherein at least one compartment is made with woven mesh patterns for easily identifying a subject stored within said at least one compartment. 
   
   
       6 . The net stabilizer of  claim 3 , wherein at least one compartment is color-coded for easy identification. 
   
   
       7 . The net stabilizer of  claim 1 , wherein the fastening means comprises a Velcro hook and loop fastener. 
   
   
       8 . The net stabilizer of  claim 7 , wherein a number of the Velcro fasteners on said bag body is between about 2 and 10. 
   
   
       9 . The net stabilizer of  claim 1 , wherein a diameter of the bag body is between about 2 and 4 inches. 
   
   
       10 . The net stabilizer of  claim 1 , wherein a diameter of the bag body is between about 1 and 10 inches. 
   
   
       11 . The net stabilizer of  claim 1 , wherein the bag body has a length between about 4 and 6 feet. 
   
   
       12 . The net stabilizer of  claim 1 , wherein the bag body has a length between about 2 and 10 feet. 
   
   
       13 . The net stabilizer of  claim 1 , wherein the bag body is made of nylon or polyester material. 
   
   
       14 . The net stabilizer of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one opening is equipped with a zipper. 
   
   
       15 . The net stabilizer of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one opening is equipped with an elastic strap, a drawstring, or a Velcro fastener. 
   
   
       16 . The net stabilizer of  claim 1 , wherein the bag body is foldable with lightweight for easy storage and carrying around.
