Abstract

A tent having an electrical system. A single battery pack may be used to provide power for lights or other powered components. As examples of lights that may be used, an overhead light may be provided for a central room and a smaller light may be provided for a sleeping room of the tent. In addition, a tent finder, such as a small LED lamp, may be provided that may be attached to the outside of the tent and which may be used for finding the tent in the dark. The light system may utilize a number of extension cords for routing power to the various powered components. The modular tent system may include a variety of attachments or wire holders for routing the extension cords and other wires of the powered system through the modular tent system.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A tent system, comprising:
at least one tent; one and only one power source for supplying DC power; and at least two wires, each wire for routing power from the power source to a different location in the tent, and each wire being attached to extend along the tent.

2 . The tent system of claim 1 , further comprising an electrical component attached to one of said at least two wires.

3 . The tent system of claim 2 , wherein the electrical component comprises a light.

4 . The tent system of claim 3 , wherein the light is attached to an inside of the tent.

5 . The tent system of claim 4 , wherein the light is attached to a top of the inside of the tent.

6 . The tent system of claim 4 , wherein said one of said at least two wires is attached along an inside of the tent.

7 . The tent system of claim 3 , further comprising a switch on said one of said at least two wires, the switch for selectively cutting power from the power source to the light.

8 . The tent system of claim 2 , wherein the electrical component comprises a tent finder.

9 . The tent system of claim 2 , further comprising a switch on said one of said at least two wires, the switch for selectively cutting power from the power source to the electrical component.

10 . The tent system of claim 1 , wherein the power source is a battery pack.

11 . The tent system of claim 10 , wherein the battery pack is attached to an inside of the tent.

12 . The tent system of claim 1 , wherein at least one of said at least two wires is attached along an inside of the tent.

13 . The tent system of claim 12 , wherein said at least two wires are attached along an inside of the tent.

14 . The tent system of claim 1 , further comprising a switch on one of said at least two wires, the switch for selectively cutting power from the power source.

       15 . A tent system, comprising:
at least one freestanding tent; a standalone power source for supplying DC power inside the tent; and at least two wires, each wire for routing power from the power source to a different location in the tent, and each wire being attached to extend along the tent.

16 . The tent system of claim 15 , further comprising an electrical component attached to one of said at least two wires.

17 . The tent system of claim 16 , wherein the electrical component comprises a light.

18 . The tent system of claim 15 , wherein one of said at least two wires is attached along an inside of the tent.

19 . The tent system of claim 15 , further comprising a switch on said one of said at least two wires, the switch for selectively cutting power from the power source.
