Abstract
A personal decontamination apparatus includes an adapter valve attachable to a water source for mixing water with a concentrated decontamination fluid for rapid detoxifying washing of the skin of a user exposed to toxic chemical, biological or nuclear radioactive substances.

An aerosol dispenser for cleansing of skin exposed to toxic substances, comprising: a hermetically sealed housing containing decontamination fluid for long term zero leakage storage, said housing being free of any penetrations; an activator cap mounted on said housing having a piercing member for penetrating said housing upon twisting of said activator cap to allow dispensing of said decontamination fluid through said activator cap; and means within said housing for pressurizing the interior of said housing after penetration of said housing by said piercing member for dispensing said decontamination fluid.
