Hydraulically driven oil recovery system

Abstract

An oil recovery device and method of use where a submersible pump is in combination with a hydraulic motor. The hydraulic motor is actuated by a pressure differential between hydraulic power lines extending between the motor and a regulation means at or near the surface. A monitoring system evaluates, communicates, and records operation parameters so that they may be adjusted to ensure a constant volume or production oil. The device may operate at variable speeds and in reverse.

       10 . An apparatus comprising: 
 a generally hollow production tube having an interior space;    a hydraulic motor disposed in said interior space;    a drive shaft disposed in said interior space and having a first end attached to said hydraulic motor;    a submersible pump comprising: 
 a plurality of pump rotors being attached to said drive shaft in a spiral-like manner; 
 wherein said submersible pump is disposed at a second end of said drive shaft; and  
 
   at least one hydraulic power line in fluid communication with said hydraulic motor; 
 wherein said hydraulic motor is actuatable over a range of circular motion and thereby rotates said drive shaft by differential pressure exerted on said hydraulic motor by a hydraulic fluid.  
   
   
   
       11 . The apparatus of  claim 10  wherein said hydraulic motor is actuated by a motor actuation means.  
   
   
       12 . The apparatus of  claim 11  further comprising a controller means in communication with said motor actuation means.  
   
   
       13 . The apparatus of  claim 12  further comprising a measurement means in communication with said controller means.
