Abstract

A base station for mobile communication including a transmitter operable to transmit data to a mobile station includes a first transmitting unit operable to transmit to a mobile station, identifying information for multicast data to be transmitted on a shared channel to the mobile station and a second transmitting unit operable to transmit the data on the shared channel to the mobile station, wherein the data is identified by the information transmitted.

1 . A base station for mobile communication comprising: 
 a transmitter operable to transmit data to a mobile station, the transmitter comprising:    a first transmitting unit operable to transmit to a mobile station, identifying information for multicast data to be transmitted on a shared channel to the mobile station; and    a second transmitting unit operable to transmit the data on the shared channel to the mobile station, wherein the data is identified by the information transmitted.    
   
   
       2 . The base station of  claim 1 , wherein the shared channel is same channel among a plurality of mobile stations.  
   
   
       3 . The base station of  claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the data transmitted on the shared channel is for a plurality of mobile stations.
