Patient Bed
Abstract
A bed for patients includes a bed having a mattress with a vertical through hole at its center, and a case provided below the through hole and including a forward/rearward moving body with a chamber pot and a sealing body moved forward/rearward and lifted for selective insertion into the through hole. Insert groove is formed in upper inner side of the chamber pot. Cover plate is provided at front of the case for rearward protrusion through a vertical stand and insertion into the insert groove when the chamber pot advances. Water putting unit having a water supply pipe with an opening/closing means is connected to the cover plate to inject water into the chamber pot. Drainage means having length-adjustable pipes connected to an external draining pipe is provided to lower portion of the chamber pot so that wasted water in the lifting and forward/rearward moving chamber pot is drained out.

8 . A bed for a patient, including a bed ( 1 ) having a mattress ( 12 ) with a through hole ( 121 ) vertically formed at a center thereof, and a case ( 3 ) provided underneath the through hole ( 121 ), including a forward or backward movable body ( 2 ) provided with a chamber pot ( 21 ) and a sealing body ( 22 ) movable forward or rearward and lifted by an operating means ( 23 ) provided therein to be selectively inserted into the through hole ( 121 ), the patient's bed comprising:
an insert groove ( 42 ) formed an inner side of an upper portion of the chamber pot ( 21 ), and a cover plate ( 4 ) provided to a front portion of the case ( 3 ) to be protruded rearward through a vertical stand ( 41 ) and inserted into the insert groove ( 42 ) when the chamber pot ( 21 ) is advanced, a water putting unit ( 5 ) to which a water supply pipe ( 51 ) including an open or close means ( 52 ) connected to the cover plate ( 4 ) so as to inject water into the chamber pot ( 21 ), and a drainage means ( 6 ) having a plurality of length-adjustable pipes connected to an external draining pipe ( 7 ) through the forward or rearward movable body ( 2 ) and the case ( 3 ) provided to a lower portion of the chamber pot ( 21 ) so that used water in the lifting and forward or backward movable chamber pot ( 21 ) is drained.
9 . The bed for a patient according to claim 8 , wherein the drainage means ( 6 ) further comprising a first draining pipe ( 61 ) vertically provided to the chamber pot ( 21 ), a third draining pipe ( 63 ) horizontally provided to a rear portion of the case ( 3 ) and connected to the external draining pipe ( 7 ), a second draining pipe ( 62 ) having vertical and horizontal pipes ( 621 , 622 ) provided to bend a lower plate of the forward or backward movable body ( 2 ) perpendicularly, the first draining pipe ( 61 ) inserted into the vertical pipe ( 621 ) to be capable of lifting, the horizontal pipe ( 622 ) inserted into the third draining pipe ( 63 ) to be movable forward or backward, and a plurality of packages ( 64 ) provided to connect the first, second and third draining pipes ( 61 , 62 , 63 ) for preventing the leaking of the used water.
10 . The bed for a patient according to claim 9 , wherein the third draining pipe ( 63 ) further comprises a drainage trap ( 631 ) for preventing bad odor from flowing back through the chamber pot ( 21 ).
11 . The bed for a patient according to any of claim 8 , wherein the open or close means ( 52 ) comprises an open-able valve ( 521 ) provided to the water supply pipe ( 51 ), and an open or close switch ( 522 ) provided to the bed ( 1 ) to operate the open-able valve ( 521 ) by manual operation.
12 . The bed for a patient according to any of claim 10 , wherein the opening or closing means ( 52 ) comprises an open-able valve ( 523 ) installed to the water supply pipe, an opening switch ( 524 ) provided to an inner side of a front plate of the case ( 3 ) and operated by advance of the forward or backward movable body ( 2 ) to operate open-able valve ( 523 ), and a closing switch ( 525 ) provided to the bed ( 1 ) to close the open-able valve ( 523 ) by manual operation.
13 . The bed for a patient according to any of claim 10 , wherein the water putting unit ( 5 ) further comprises a plurality of injecting nozzles ( 53 ) provided to the cover plate ( 4 ) and connected to the water supply pipe ( 51 ).
14 . The bed for a patient according to any of claim 8 , wherein the operating means ( 23 ) further comprises, a forward/rearward movable unit ( 23 1 ) having a rail that makes the forward/rearward movable body ( 2 ) moving in the case ( 3 ) in a forward/rearward direction, a forward/rearward rack shaft ( 231 a) vertically fixed in the case ( 3 ), and a forward/rearward operating motor ( 231 b ) provided with a forward/rearward pinion ( 231 c ) fixed to the forward/rearward movable body ( 2 ) and rotationally engaging the forward/rearward rack shaft ( 231 a ), and forward/rearward lifting operating units ( 232 , 233 ) having vertical rack shafts ( 232 a , 233 a ) mounted to front and rear portions of the forward/rearward movable body ( 2 ) below the chamber pot ( 21 ) and the sealing body ( 22 ) to be capable of vertically lifting, and lifting motors ( 232 b , 233 b ) provided with pinions ( 232 c , 233 c ) fixed to the forward or rearward movable body ( 2 ) and rotationally engaged the vertical rack shafts ( 232 a , 233 a ) to lift the vertical rack shafts ( 232 a , 233 a ).Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
