Abstract

An expandable tree bag assembly ( 100 ) for use with both conifer and deciduous trees includes an extended ovular shaped face ( 101 ) having a long curved edge ( 103 ) and short curved edge ( 105 ). Side edges ( 109, 113 ) operate using a zippered closing mechanism allowing an expansion panel ( 201 ) to be attached for increasing the circumference of the ovular shaped face ( 101 ). The face includes a carrier aperture positioned alone the long curved edge ( 103 ) for allowing the tree carrier to extend therethrough.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An expandable tree bag assembly for use with both conifer and deciduous trees comprising:
an extended ovular shaped face having a long curved edge and short curved edge; a plurality of side edges that operate with a zippered closing mechanism; an expansion panel for attaching to the zippered closing mechanism for increasing the circumference of the ovular shaped face; and wherein the face includes at least one adjustable carrier aperture positioned around the long curved edge for allowing a tree carrier to extend therethrough.

2 . An expandable tree bag assembly as in claim 1 , wherein the extension panel includes at least one pocket for carrying accessories for tree transportation.

3 . An expandable tree bag assembly as in claim 1 , wherein the plurality of side edges further include hook and loop fasteners for securely holding the plurality of side edges in a fixed position.

4 . An expandable tree bag assembly as in claim 1 , wherein the top of least one carrier aperture is controlled using a rope positioned with the long curved edge.

5 . An expandable tree bag assembly comprising:
a face having an extended ovular shape where the face includes a substantially long first edge, a substantially shorter second edge and a plurality of side edges; a zipper closing device positioned on the plurality of side edges for fastening the face into a closed position; at least one expansion panel for increasing the circumference of the face; at least one adjustable carrier aperture positioned near the substantially long first edge for allowing a tree carrier to extend therethrough; and wherein the face maybe positioned in a reverse direction so as to allow protection of both conifer and deciduous trees from wind damage during vehicular transport.

6 . An expandable tree bag assembly as in claim 5 , wherein the at least one expansion panel includes a pocket for carrying accessories for tree transportation.

7 . An expandable tree bag assembly as in claim 5 , wherein the at least one carrier aperture is adjusted using a rope positioned with the extended ovular shaped faces.

8 . A method for providing an expandable tree bag assembly comprising the steps of:
providing a bag face in an extended ovular shape which has an elongated first end, an substantially shorter second end and a plurality of side edges; increasing the circumference of the bag face by fastening at least one expansion panel between the plurality of side edges; providing a plurality of carrier apertures near the elongated first end in order to accommodate a tree carrier device; and positioning the hag face such that it may be positioned in an upward or downward orientation depending on whether a conifer or deciduous tree is to be protected during vehicular transport.

9 . A method for providing an expandable tree bag assembly as in claim 8 , further including the step of:
including at least one pocket in the at least one expansion panel for carrying accessories for tree transportation.

10 . A method for providing an expandable tree bag assembly as in claim 8 , further including the step of:
adjusting the elongated first end using a rope embedded in the long face.
