Bathing support and entertainment apparatus

Abstract

The present disclosure is related to bathing support and entertainment apparatus that include a plurality of elongated members and further includes entertainment elements. The apparatus and associated methods of use and installation provide for an entertaining and safe bathing area, particularly useful when bathing children.

1 . A bathing support and entertainment apparatus, comprising: 
 a first elongated member, said first elongated member having at a first terminal end a first securing element, said first securing element having a first securing contact area;    a second elongated member wherein said second elongated member is provided substantially perpendicular to said first elongated member, said second elongated member having at a second terminal end a second securing element, said second securing element having a second securing contact area, said second securing contact area and said first securing contact area being substantially perpendicular to one another;    at least one entertainment element disposed along at least one of said first or second elongated member and    a junction portion which said first and second elongated members portions meet.    
   
   
       2 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising at least one dimension adjusting portion, said at least one dimension adjusting portion being axially located along at least one of said first elongated member or said second elongated member.  
   
   
       3 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said first elongated member has disposed along its length at least one dedicated grasping area.  
   
   
       4 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said at least one entertainment element is or includes at least one light emitting diode.  
   
   
       5 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said at least one entertainment element includes a wire and a sliding element.  
   
   
       6 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said first and second elongated members are made of any one of plastic, metal, wood or any combination thereof.  
   
   
       7 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said entertainment element is made of any one of plastic, wood, stone or any combination thereof.  
   
   
       8 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said entertainment element is attached to and depends from said first or second elongated member.  
   
   
       9 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said entertainment element is removable from said first elongated member or said second elongated member.  
   
   
       10 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of said first securing element or said second securing element includes a suction apparatus.  
   
   
       11 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 10 , wherein said suction apparatus includes a suction activation lever.  
   
   
       12 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 9 , wherein said entertainment element is secured to at least one of said first or second elongated member by hook and loop fastening.  
   
   
       13 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said first and said second securing element are provided with differing means for securing contact with a support area in a bathing area.  
   
   
       14 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising a third elongated member, said third elongated member being substantially perpendicular to said first and second elongated members, said third elongated member having at its terminal end a third securing element having a third securing contact area, said third elongated member meeting up with said first and second elongation member at said junction portion.  
   
   
       15 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 14 , wherein said third elongated member has along its respective axis a dimension adjusting portion.  
   
   
       16 . The bathing support and entertainment apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said second securing contact area is adjustable to be sized to contact a bathtub rim.  
   
   
       17 . A method for providing an entertaining and safe bathing area, comprising: 
 providing a bathing support and entertainment apparatus, said apparatus including a first elongated member, said first elongated member having at a first terminal end a first securing element, said first securing element having a first securing contact area, a second elongated member wherein said second elongated member is provided substantially perpendicular to said first elongated member, said second elongated member having at a second terminal end a second securing element, said second securing element having a second securing contact area, said first securing contact area and second securing contact area being substantially perpendicular to one another, at least one entertainment element disposed along at least one of said first or second elongated member, a junction portion at which said first and second elongated members meet;    determining an appropriate length of at least one of said first or second elongated members and    securing said bathing support and entertainment apparatus to bathing support areas in a bathing area via said first and second securing elements.    
   
   
       18 . The method of  claim 17 , wherein said bathing support and entertainment apparatus further includes at least one dimension adjusting portion axially located along at least one of said first elongated member or second elongated member.  
   
   
       19 . The method of  claim 18 , further including the step of adjusting at least one of a height, a width or a depth dimension of said bathing support and entertainment apparatus via said at least one dimension adjusting portion, to fit into said bathing area.  
   
   
       20 . A bathing support and entertainment apparatus, comprising: 
 a first elongated member, said first elongated member having at a first terminal end a first securing element, said first securing element having a first securing contact area;    a second elongated member wherein said second elongated member is provided substantially perpendicular to said first elongated member, said second elongated member having at a second terminal end a second securing element, said second securing element having a second securing contact area, said first securing contact area, said second securing contact area being substantially perpendicular to one another;    a third elongated member, said third elongated member being substantially perpendicular to said first and second elongated members and having at a third terminal end a third securing element, said third securing element having a third securing contact area, wherein at least one of said first, second or third elongation members includes an axially disposed dimension adjusting portion;    at least one dedicated grasping area located along at least one of said first or second elongated members;    at least one entertainment element disposed along at least one of said first or second elongated member;    at least one battery compartment located interiorly of any one of said first, second or third elongated members, and    a junction portion at which said first second and third elongated members portions meet.
