Wide Neck Bottle For Dispensing Promotional Items

Abstract

A wide neck bottle for dispensing promotional items including a housing including a top section and a bottom section defining an interior cavity for receiving at least one promotional item, a securing element for removably securing the top section to the bottom section, a neck included in the top section including a substantially circular opening, and a cap removably connected to the neck and at least partially covering the opening, the cap including an elongated slot for inserting currency to the interior cavity via the neck, the elongated slot having a length greater than 24 millimeters.

1 . A wide neck bottle for dispensing promotional items, comprising:
 a housing comprising a top section and a bottom section defining an interior cavity for receiving at least one promotional item;   a securing element for removably securing the top section to the bottom section;   a neck comprised in the top section including a substantially circular opening; and   a cap removably connected to said neck and at least partially covering the opening, said cap comprising an elongated slot for inserting currency to the interior cavity via said neck, the elongated slot having a length greater than 24 millimeters.   
   
   
       2 . The wide neck bottle according to  claim 1 , where the opening has an interior diameter greater than 24 millimeters. 
   
   
       3 . The wide neck bottle according to  claim 1 , wherein the at least one promotional item includes at least one of a t-shirt and a hat. 
   
   
       4 . The wide neck bottle according to  claim 1 , wherein the at least one promotional item includes one or more event tickets. 
   
   
       5 . The wide neck bottle according to  claim 1 , wherein the securing element includes shrink-wrap. 
   
   
       6 . The wide neck bottle according to  claim 1 , wherein the securing element includes an adhesive label. 
   
   
       7 . A container for dispensing promotional items, comprising:
 a housing for receiving at least one promotional item, said housing comprising a first section and a second section;   a securing element for removably securing the first section to the second section;   a neck defined by at least one of the first and second sections and including a substantially circular opening having a interior diameter greater than 24 millimeters; and   a receiving element removably connected to said neck and at least partially covering the opening, said receiving element comprising an elongated slot.   
   
   
       8 . The container according to  claim 7 , wherein the elongated slot has a length substantially equal to a diameter of at least one predetermined coin. 
   
   
       9 . The container according to  claim 7 , wherein the elongated slot has a length greater than 24 millimeters. 
   
   
       10 . The container according to  claim 7 , wherein the elongated slot has a width of at least 1.75 millimeters. 
   
   
       11 . The container according to  claim 7 , wherein the container is adapted for dispensing from a vending apparatus for vending product items, wherein the container has a shape substantially similar to the product items. 
   
   
       12 . The container according to  claim 11 , wherein the opening has a width greater than a width of an opening of the product items. 
   
   
       13 . The container according to  claim 7 ,
 wherein said receiving element is screw-on cap.   
   
   
       14 . The container according to  claim 7 , wherein the at least one promotional item includes at least one of a t-shirt and a hat. 
   
   
       15 . The container according to  claim 7 , wherein the at least one promotional item includes one or more event tickets. 
   
   
       16 . The container according to  claim 7 , wherein the securing element includes an adhesive label. 
   
   
       17 . An apparatus for dispensing promotional and product item bottles, comprising:
 a payment receipt mechanism;   a storage compartment;   a dispensing opening for dispensing bottles from the storage compartment upon receipt of a predetermined payment amount by said payment receipt mechanism;   a plurality of product bottles stacked upon one another and stored for dispensing in the storage compartment, each of said product bottles having a predetermined size and shape;   at least one wide neck bottle for dispensing a promotional item stored in said storage compartment among said product bottles, the at least one wide neck bottle having substantially the same predetermined size and shape of said product bottles;   wherein said at least one wide neck bottle includes a housing comprising a top section and a bottom section defining an interior cavity housing at least one promotional item, a securing element for removably securing the top section to the bottom section, a neck comprised in the top section and including a substantially circular opening, said neck having an interior diameter greater than an interior diameter of a neck of each of the product bottles, and a cap removably connected to said neck and at least partially covering the opening, said cap comprising an elongated slot for inserting currency to the interior cavity via said neck.   
   
   
       18 . The apparatus according to  claim 17 , wherein at least one promotional item includes at least one of a t-shirt and a hat. 
   
   
       19 . The container according to  claim 17 , wherein the promotional item includes one or more event tickets. 
   
   
       20 . The apparatus according to  claim 17 , wherein said at least one promotional item comprises a compressed fabric article having an outer diameter at least equal to an inner diameter of the interior cavity and an outer surface which extends complementary to and continuously urges against a substantial portion of an inner peripheral surface of the interior cavity and at least partially fills said interior cavity such that the wide neck bottle will not collapse under the weight of other wide neck bottles and product bottles within the storage compartment.
