Temporary Ornament Display Apparatus and Method

Abstract

A system and method for temporarily displaying an ornament in a jewelry article is provided. The system comprises an ornament holder configured to temporarily hold an ornament and a jewelry article attachment configured to temporarily couple the ornament holder to a jewelry article. The ornament holder and the jewelry article attachment may be coupled together or design as a one-piece configuration.

1 . A method for temporarily displaying an ornament in a jewelry article, comprising: 
 selecting a temporary ornament display apparatus;    coupling the temporary ornament display apparatus to the jewelry article; and    temporarily coupling the ornament to an ornament holder of the temporary ornament display apparatus.    
   
   
       2 . The method of  claim 1  wherein coupling the temporary ornament display apparatus comprises gripping prongs of the jewelry article between spoke sets.  
   
   
       3 . The method of  claim 1  wherein coupling the temporary ornament display apparatus comprises inserting a peg of the temporary ornament display apparatus into a corresponding hole of the jewelry article.  
   
   
       4 . The method of  claim 1  wherein coupling the temporary ornament display apparatus comprises applying an adhesive material between the temporary ornament display apparatus and the jewelry article.  
   
   
       5 . The method of  claim 1  wherein temporarily coupling the ornament comprises flexing arms of the temporary ornament display apparatus to allow the ornament into a space between the arms and allowing the arms to attempt to return to a relaxed state.  
   
   
       6 . The method of  claim 1  wherein coupling the temporary ornament display apparatus comprises gripping a shank of the jewelry article utilizing downwardly-curved spokes.  
   
   
       7 . A method for temporarily displaying an ornament in a jewelry article, comprising: 
 coupling a temporary ornament display apparatus to the jewelry article via at least two sets of spokes coupled together at a base and extending in different angled directions from one another; and    temporarily coupling the ornament to an ornament holder of the temporary ornament display apparatus.    
   
   
       8 . The method of  claim 7  wherein coupling the temporary ornament display apparatus comprises gripping prongs of the jewelry article between the at least two sets of spokes.  
   
   
       9 . The method of  claim 7  wherein coupling the temporary ornament display apparatus comprises gripping a shank of the jewelry article with the at least two sets of spokes.  
   
   
       10 . The method of  claim 7  wherein temporarily coupling the ornament comprises flexing arms of the temporary ornament display apparatus to allow the ornament into a space between the arms and allowing the arms to attempt to return to a relaxed state.
