Men's underwear with an adjustable support sling

Abstract

A pair of man's trousers which is adapted for use by preferably sportsmen and by other active persons, comprising a waist portion ( 2 ) connected to back and front portions ( 3, 4 ), which merged into each other or are interconnected at a crotch ( 5 ). The front portion ( 4 ) includes a pocket ( 7 ) sewn to its inner side and having an upper, inward directed, free edge portion ( 8 ), the vertical position of which can be adjusted relatively the waist portion ( 2 ), preferably by means of an adjustment member ( 9 ) extending from the waist portion ( 2 ), preferably with the aid of adjustment means ( 9 ) extending from the waist portion ( 2 ), for the purpose of adaptation to the location of the genital organs of the user and/or to the type of sport which the wearer is practicing.

1 . A men's undergarment, comprising: 
 back and front portions forming a crotch portion;    a waistband portion connected to the back and front portions; and    a pocket comprising an adjustable free edge portion adapted to locate behind and against the scrotum root of the wearer.    
   
   
       2 . The undergarment of  claim 1 , further comprising: 
 an adjustment member adapted to control the position of the adjustable free edge portion.    
   
   
       3 . The undergarment of  claim 1 , further comprising: 
 means for controlling the position of the adjustable free edge portion.    
   
   
       4 . The undergarment of  claim 2 , wherein the adjustment member comprises an elastic band.  
   
   
       5 . The undergarment of  claim 1 , wherein the pocket is open at a bottom thereof.  
   
   
       6 . The undergarment of  claim 1 , wherein left and right sides of the pocket are attached to the front portion by corresponding left and right seams extending toward the waistband portion.  
   
   
       7 . The undergarment of  claim 2 , wherein the adjustment member comprises at least one free end portion adapted to secure the adjustable free edge portion in place.  
   
   
       8 . The undergarment of  claim 2 , wherein the adjustment member comprises means for securing the adjustable free edge portion in place.  
   
   
       9 . The undergarment of  claim 1 , wherein the pocket comprises external and internal sides of lower and higher friction, respectively.  
   
   
       10 . The undergarment of  claim 1 , wherein the pocket is adapted to segregate the scrotum and legs of the wearer.  
   
   
       11 . The undergarment of  claim 1 , wherein the pocket comprises means for segregating the scrotum and legs of the wearer.  
   
   
       12 . The undergarment of  claim 1 , wherein the pocket is adapted to pressing the back of the scrotum toward the front portion.  
   
   
       13 . The undergarment of  claim 1 , wherein the pocket comprises means for pressing the back of the scrotum toward the front portion.  
   
   
       14 . A men's undergarment, comprising: 
 back and front portions forming a crotch portion;    a waistband portion connected to the back and front portions;    a pocket comprising an adjustable free edge portion adapted to locate behind and against the scrotum root of the wearer; and    an adjustment member adapted to control the position of the adjustable free edge portion.
