. The method of claim 31 , wherein the property for sale is a work of art.

. A method of electronically executing sale transactions across a plurality of networked terminals, comprising the steps of:
creating a profile for a customer including customer preferences regarding property for sale; searching a plurality of electronic images and corresponding data of said property for sale, made available by at least one seller, according to search criteria and according to said profile to select at least one of said electronic images; transmitting said selected electronic images and said corresponding data to at least one terminal of the plurality of networked terminals, wherein at least a portion of said selected electronic images is displayed at said at least one terminal; reserving at least one of said displayed electronic images according to a request of a first buyer; receiving an order of said first buyer to purchase a first property for sale by a first seller, said first property for sale corresponding to at least one of said reserved electronic images, wherein a sale transaction of said first property for sale is initiated.

. The method of claim 33 , wherein the property for sale is a work of art.

. A method for electronically executing sale transactions across a plurality of networked terminals, comprising the steps of:
storing a plurality of electronic images and corresponding data of property for sale by at least one seller; searching said stored electronic images and said corresponding data according to search criteria received from a first terminal of the plurality of networked terminals to select at least one of said stored electronic images; transmitting said selected electronic images in low resolution and said corresponding data to said first terminal, wherein at least a portion of said selected electronic images is displayed at said first terminal; transmitting one or more of said electronic images in high resolution according to a request of a first buyer received from said first terminal, wherein at least a portion of said selected electronic images is displayed at said first terminal; reserving at least one of said displayed electronic images according to a request of a first buyer received from said first terminal; receiving from said first terminal an order of said first buyer to purchase a first property for sale by a first seller, said first property for sale corresponding to at least one of said reserved electronic images, wherein a sale transaction of said first property for sale is initiated; generating instructions to complete said sale transaction; and transmitting said instructions to said first terminal of said first buyer and to a terminal of said first seller.

. The method of claim 35 , wherein the property for sale is a work of art.

. A device for selling properties, comprising:
a transceiver configured to effect communications via a network about a property being offered for sale by a dealer, wherein the dealer has a profession to buy and to sell the properties; a monitor configured to display a graphical representation of an appearance of the property and a graphical representation of at least one of a form and an instruction, wherein the at least one of the form and the instruction is configured to effect a sale of the property; a user interface configured to allow a user to select the graphical representation of the appearance of the property from graphical representations of appearances of the properties and to enter data related to the sale; a processor configured to generate the at least one of the form and the instruction and to process the data related to the sale.

. The device of claim 37 , wherein the properties are works of art.

. The device of claim 37 , wherein the user interface is further configured to allow the user to effect a reservation of the property for a future sale and the processor is further configured to process the reservation.

. The device of claim 37 , wherein the processor is further configured to process an order to withhold the property from sale.

. The device of claim 37 , wherein the processor is further configured to process an order to remove the graphical representation of the appearance of the property if the property has been sold.

. The device of claim 37 , wherein the user interface is further configured to allow the user to enter a shipping instruction and the processor is further configured to process the shipping instruction.

. The device of claim 42 , wherein the processor is further configured to process an order to prevent shipment of the property until a confirmation of payment has been received.

. A computer program product for selling a property, the computer program product having computer program code embodied in a computer readable storage medium, the computer program code comprising:
a first program code means for causing the computer system to effect communications via a network about a property being offered for sale by a dealer, wherein the dealer has a profession to buy and to sell the properties; a second program code means for causing the computer system to display a graphical representation of an appearance of the property; a third program code means for causing the computer system to interface with a user to allow the user to select the graphical representation of the appearance of the property from graphical representations of appearances of the properties; a fourth program code means for causing the computer system to generate at least one of a form and an instruction, wherein the at least one of the form and the instruction is configured to effect a sale of the property; a fifth program code means for causing the computer system to display the at least one of the form and the instruction; a sixth program code means for causing the computer system to interface with the user to allow the user to enter data related to the sale; a seventh program code means for causing the computer system to process the data related to the sale.

. The computer program product of claim 44 , wherein the properties are works of art.

. The computer program product of claim 44 , further comprising a eighth program code means for causing the computer system to interface with the user to allow the user to effect a reservation of the property for a future sale.

. The computer program product of claim 44 , further comprising a eighth program code means for causing the computer system to process an order to withhold the property from sale.

. The computer program product of claim 44 , further comprising a eighth program code means for causing the computer system to process an order to remove the graphical representation of the appearance of the property if the property has been sold.
