Backpack lumbar firearm compartment

Abstract

A backpack providing a lumbar firearms compartment which combines ease of access to the firearm with the needed concealment of the firearm and the requisite comfort to the backpack wearer for long term storage of the firearm. Various related configurations of the lumbar firearms compartment are disclosed.

1 . A backpack with an enclosure suitable for use as a firearm carrying compartment wherein said firearm carrying compartment is located in the lumbar region of the interior surface of said backpack.
