Abstract

A cooling fan is disclosed to have a hollow hub, a rim spaced around the hollow hub, and a plurality of blades equiangularly spaced around the hollow hub and respectively connected between the hollow hub and the rim, each blade curving from the hollow hub in a positive sloping and then in a negative sloping toward the rim and having a plurality of grooves arranged in parallel on one surface thereof in a curvature corresponding to the profile of the blades.

A cooling fan comprising a hollow hub, a rim spaced around said hollow hub, and a plurality of blades equiangularly spaced around said hollow hub and respectively connected between said hollow hub and said rim, wherein said blades are curving from said hollow hub toward said rim, each having a plurality of grooves arranged in parallel on one surface thereof in a curvature corresponding to the profile of said blades.  
   
   
       2 . The cooling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the grooves of each of said blades occupy one half of the width of the associating blade.  
   
   
       3 . The cooling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , which is installed in a top side of a radiator of a motor vehicle.  
   
   
       4 . The cooling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , which is installed in a bottom side of a radiator of a motor vehicle.  
   
   
       5 . The cooling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , which is coupled to a motor and rotatable by said motor.  
   
   
       6 . The cooling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said blades curve from said hollow hub in a positive sloping and then in a negative sloping toward said rim.  
   
   
       7 . The cooling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said hollow hub, said rim and said blades are molded from plastics.  
   
   
       8 . The cooling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said hollow hub, said rim and said blades are made in integrity.
