Multiple-input selectable systems integrated display and control functions unit for electrophysiology and the like

Abstract

A systems integrator that brings various separate systems into one keyboard, video and mouse configuration with customized viewing of the different monitors on one large screen LCD monitor. This permits a user to control the display of several video/audio inputs simply and efficiently, for many diverse purposes including medical procedures, and other complex operations requiring multiple computer displays and video inputs.

1 . A multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system comprising: 
 a) at least two video input feeds;    b) a computer having a keyboard and a mouse;    c) a video controller inoperative communication with said at least two video input feeds;    d) a keyboard-video-mouse controller in operative communication with said least two video input feeds and said computer;    e) an output feed controller in operative communication with said keyboard-video-mouse switch and said video controller;    f) a touch screen in operative communication with said output feed controller; and    g) a main display screen in operative communication with said output feed controller, whereby said at least two video input feeds are displayed on said main display as selected by an operator using said system.    
   
   
       2 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 1  further comprising a second touch screen in operative communication with said output feed controller.  
   
   
       3 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 1  wherein one of said at least two video input feeds is generated by a computer.  
   
   
       4 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 1  wherein the at least two video input feeds comprise a total to between about four to twelve video input feeds.  
   
   
       5 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 1  wherein the touch screen has a plurality of user-selectable buttons displayed.  
   
   
       6 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 5  wherein the plurality of user-selectable buttons are programmed to display the at least two video input feeds on said main display screen.  
   
   
       7 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 1  wherein the computer has a hard drive an further wherein said hard drive holds video collection software thereon.  
   
   
       8 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 1  wherein the computer has a hard drive an further wherein said hard drive holds video collection software thereon.  
   
   
       9 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 1  further comprising: a plurality of video amplifier splitters in operable communication with said at least two video input feeds and said keyboard-video-mouse controller.  
   
   
       10 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 1  further comprising: at least one serial port converter, in operable communication with said computer.  
   
   
       11 . A multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system comprising: 
 a) a plurality of video input feeds;    b) a computer having a keyboard and a mouse;    c) a video controller inoperative communication with said plurality of video input feeds;    d) a keyboard-video-mouse controller in operative communication with said plurality of video input feeds and said computer;    e) an output feed controller in operative communication with said keyboard-video-mouse switch and said video controller;    f) a first touch screen in operative communication with said output feed controller, said first touch screen having a plurality of user-selectable buttons displayed on said touch screen;    g) a second touch screen in operative communication with said output feed controller said second touch screen having a plurality of user-selectable buttons displayed on said touch screen;    h) a main display screen in operative communication with said output feed controller, whereby said plurality of video input feeds are displayed on said main display as selected by system.    
   
   
       12 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 11  wherein the plurality of video input feeds are displayed on said main display as selected by system are displayed by an operator operating said first touch screen.  
   
   
       13 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 11  wherein one of said plurality of video input feeds is generated by a computer.  
   
   
       14 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 11  wherein the plurality of video input feeds comprise a total to between about four to twelve video input feeds.  
   
   
       15 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 11  wherein the plurality of video input feeds are displayed on said main display as selected by system are displayed by an operator operating said second touch screen.  
   
   
       16 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 11  wherein the plurality of video input feeds are displayed on said main display as selected by system are displayed by an operator operating said first touch screen and by or an operator operating said second touch screen, said operators operating independently.  
   
   
       17 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 11  wherein the computer has a hard drive an further wherein said hard drive holds video collection software thereon.  
   
   
       18 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 11  wherein the computer has a hard drive an further wherein said hard drive holds video collection software thereon.  
   
   
       19 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 11  further comprising: a plurality of video amplifier splitters in operable communication with said plurality of video input feeds and said keyboard-video-mouse controller.  
   
   
       20 . The multiple-input selectable systems integrated display system of  claim 11  further comprising: at least one serial port converter, in operable communication with said computer.
