Abstract

A display-supporting frame includes: first rods, each of which has first and second side walls, one of the first side walls being formed with first hole units, one of the second side walls being formed with second hole units, each of the first hole units cooperating with an adjacent one of the second hole units to define a plane transverse to the first and second side walls such that each pair of the first and second hole units are respectively located at two sides of the plane; second rods, each of which is formed with a locking hole unit; and a plurality of fasteners for fastening the first rods to the second rods through extension of each of the fasteners through a selected one of the first hole units and the second hole units in a respective one of the first rods, and into the locking hole unit in a respective one of the second rods to engage the respective one of the second rods.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A display-supporting frame, comprising:
a plurality of first rods, each of which has two opposite first side walls that are opposite to each other in a first direction, and two opposite second side walls that are opposite to each other in a second direction transverse to said first direction, one of said first side walls being formed with a plurality of first hole units aligned along the length of the respective one of said first rods, one of said second side walls being formed with a plurality of second hole units aligned along the length of the respective one of said first rods, each of said first hole units cooperating with an adjacent one of said second hole units to define a plane transverse to said first and second side walls such that said first and second hole units in the adjacent pair are respectively located at two sides of the plane; a plurality of second rods, each of which has two opposite end faces, and each of which is formed with a locking hole unit that extends along the length of the respective one of said second rods through said end faces; and a plurality of fasteners for fastening said first rods to said second rods through extension of each of said fasteners through a selected one of said first hole units in said one of said first side walls and said second hole units in said one of said second side walls of a respective one of said first rods and into said locking hole unit in a respective one of said second rods to engage the respective one of said second rods.

2 . The display-supporting frame of claim 1 , wherein the other of said first side walls of each of said first rods is formed with a plurality of first access openings that are respectively registered with said first hole units for access to said first hole units so as to permit tightening and loosening of the respective ones of said fasteners, the other of said second side walls of each of said first rods being formed with a plurality of second access openings that are respectively registered with said second hole units for access to said second hole units so as to permit tightening and loosening of the respective ones of said fasteners.

3 . The display-supporting frame of claim 2 , wherein each of said first and second hole units includes two through-holes, said locking hole unit of each of said second rods including two locking holes that are respectively registered with said through-holes in the respective one of said first and second side walls of the respective one of said first rods.

4 . The display-supporting frame of claim 2 , wherein each of said first rods has a cross-section that is rectangular in shape.

5 . The display-supporting frame of claim 2 , wherein each of said first rods has a cross-section that is octagonal in shape.

6 . The display-supporting frame of claim 3 , wherein each of said fasteners is in the form of a screw, each of said second rods having an inner thread formed in each of said locking holes, each of said fasteners engaging said inner thread in the respective one of said locking holes in the respective one of said second rods.

7 . The display-supporting frame of claim 2 , wherein each of said second rods has a cross-section that is I-shaped, and includes two opposite horizontal plates and a vertical plate interconnecting said horizontal plates, said locking hole unit being formed in said vertical plate.

8 . The display-supporting frame of claim 2 , wherein each of said second rods has a cross-section that is U-shaped, and includes two opposite horizontal plates and a vertical plate interconnecting said horizontal plates, said locking hole unit being formed in said vertical plate.

9 . The display-supporting frame of claim 2 , wherein each of said second rods has a cross-section that is rectangular in shape and that has two opposite first side plates, two opposite second side plates interconnecting said first side plates, and an intermediate plate disposed between said second side plates and interconnecting said first side plates, said locking hole unit being formed in said intermediate plate.

10 . The display-supporting frame of claim 3 , wherein each of said second rods has a cross-section that is rectangular in shape and that has two opposite first side plates, two opposite second side plates interconnecting said first side plates, and two parallel intermediate plates disposed between said first side plates and interconnecting said second side plates, said locking holes being respectively formed in said intermediate plates.

11 . The display-supporting frame of claim 2 , wherein each of said second rods is solid and rectangular in shape.
