Abstract
An automotive air conditioner comprises an offset blower for blowing an air, an evaporator is centrally disposed within a dashboard and receives the air from below, and a heater approximately horizontally disposed above the evaporator. The evaporator inclines downward along the direction of the air flow. A plurality of condensed water guide plates are provided under the evaporator so as to allow a condensed water smoothly flow on the surface of each guide plate and is discharged from the evaporator through a condensed water drain pipe.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An air conditioner for a vehicle, comprising:
a blower for blowing air; a case for defining an air passage through which air blown by the blower flows; and a cooling heat exchanger located in the case approximately horizontally such that the air blown by the blower flows through the cooling heat exchanger, wherein the cooling heat exchanger is tilted from a horizontal surface to have a tilted lower end portion and a tilted upper end portion, wherein: the cooling heat exchanger includes a plurality of tubes disposed in parallel with each other, and a plurality of corrugated fins each of which is disposed between adjacent tubes; the corrugated fin has a fin flat surface and is provided with louvers for guiding air toward an inclination direction with respect to the fin flat surface; and the louvers are proved such that a flow direction of air in an air outlet-side portion of the cooling heat exchanger is directed toward the tilted upper end portion of the cooling heat exchanger.
2 . The air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein the louver is inclined downstream in an air flow from the fin flat surface toward the tilted upper end portion of the cooling heat exchanger.
3 . The air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein the louver has an inclined portion in the air outlet-side portion of the cooling heat exchanger, and the inclined portion is inclined downstream in an air flow from the flat surface toward the tilted upper portion of the cooling heat exchanger.
4 . The air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein:
the cooling heat exchanger further includes a tank portion connected to one end of each tube; and the tank portion is positioned at the tilted upper portion in the cooling heat exchanger.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
