Multicolor skateboard wheel

Abstract

Skateboard wheels according to the present disclosure may be made of a solid color and have a secondary color applied on the surface. The colored surface may be ground, etched or otherwise removed to form a variety of patterns exposing the underlying color against the surface color.

1 . A skateboard wheel comprising: 
 a solid wheel core having one or more core portions, each core portion having a different color and the wheel core having a first and a second side surface and a rolling surface; and    an opaque coating on the first, second and rolling surface, with at least one opening through the coating on one or more surfaces to reveal the one or more core portions.    
   
   
       2 . The skateboard wheel of  claim 1  wherein the solid core has two core portions of contrasting colors.  
   
   
       3 . The skateboard wheel of  claim 1  wherein the solid core has two core portions of complimentary colors.  
   
   
       4 . The skateboard wheel of  claim 1  wherein the opaque coating of the rolling surface is opened to reveal the one or more core portions of the rolling surface.
