Abstract

In one embodiment, a data structure recorded on the recording medium includes a text subtitle stream including one or more presentation segments. Each of the presentation segments specifies its own presentation start and end times. An initial value of a system time clock of the text subtitle stream is a presentation start time of the first presentation segment in the text subtitle stream.
