Abstract
The present invention provides a scent emanating container adapted for removable placement on the end of an elongated writing instrument, having a scent housing, a neck portion adapted for placement on the elongated writing instrument and from which the scent housing extends, a post interiorly extending from the housing, and a scented member removably positioned on the post.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A scent emanating container adapted for removable placement on the end of an elongated writing instrument, comprising:
a scent housing; a neck portion adapted for placement on the elongated writing instrument and from which said scent housing extends; a post interiorly extending from said housing; and a scented member removably positioned on said post.
2 . The scent emanating container of claim 1 , wherein said scent housing comprises:
a base portion; and a cover hingedly connected to said base portion.
3 . The scent emanating container of claim 2 , wherein said post extends upwardly from said base portion.
4 . The scent emanating container of claim 2 , wherein said base portion includes a plurality of openings formed therethrough.
5 . The scent emanating container of claim 4 , wherein said cover includes a plurality of openings formed therethrough.
6 . The scent emanating container of claim 1 , wherein said neck portion includes an interior surface that is coated with a material having non-slip characteristics.
7 . The scent emanating container of claim 1 , wherein said scented member is a sponge.
