Containers' carrier with multiple hooking system.

Abstract

The present invention refers to a drink carrier designed to be used to carry groups of hot or cold drinks, soda cans and food containers and that with a laminar foldable structure and with disposable character, allows it to be used as carrying tray and which outer surface constitutes advertising space.

1 . Improved Containers' Carrier with Multiple Hooking System conceived to act as a hot or cold drink container, constituted by a homogeneous flat body, preferably cardboard-made, which when folded by lateral die-cut sides conforms a three-dimensional receptacle, with two horizontal surfaces which incorporate round openings ( 3 ), in which the containers to be carried are placed and characterized by such horizontal surfaces having areas at the extreme ( 2 ) which are delimited by a folding line, areas which once folded to themselves in a 90 degree angle, conform vertical panels with hooking flaps ( 5 ) and asymmetric slots with respect to the longitudinal axis, which conform a handle ( 4 ), with ear-shaped flaps ( 5 ) at their side ends, which when being introduced in the longitudinal slots located in the opposite lateral lapels conform the containers' carrier holding and lifting mechanism without the need of using adhesive and because the flaps ( 5 ), once the containers' carrier is assembled, they protrude with respect to the base of the containers' carrier and can be introduced in the longitudinal slots located in the opposite lateral lapels of a similar model, being able to attach it to additional containers' carriers.  
   
   
       2 . Improved Container Carrier for carrying a hot or cold drink container, comprising a flat sheet, said flat sheet having a first and second member, each member having a front face and a back face and a first and second cup holder portions, each cup holder portion having a front face and a back face, said first and second cup holder portions positioned on either side of one of said members, said first and second cup holder portions being adapted to be folded so that each forms a opening for receiving a cup, said first and second cup holder portions being adapted to be folded so that one of said faces on one portion contacts one of said faces of the second portion in an assembled structure, said cup holder portions being positioned in said assembled structure so that a handle opening in one cup holder portion is positioned in relation to the handle opening of the second cup holder portion so that there is a single handle opening for said assembled structure, said cup holder portions each having one or more attaching and hooking flaps extending from each side of said cup holder portion, said flaps being adapted to be received in respective slots of said first and second member.  
   
   
       3 . The container carrier according to  claim 2  wherein at least one of said cup holder portions has a hole for receiving one or more spoons.

The container carrier according to  claim 2  wherein there is a contour joining flap extending from an edge of one of said members opposite the edge of said member that contacts said cup holder portion said contour joining flap being adapted to be glued to a contour joining glue area on said cup holder portion.  
   
   
       5 . The container carrier according to  claim 4  wherein there is a base joining area extending from said first member which is adapted to be secured to a base union area on said cup holder portion.
