Rotary protecting hood of a pneumatic grinder
Abstract
The invention discloses a rotary protecting hood of a pneumatic grinder that comprises a connecting end disposed on a pneumatic grinder body, a grinder wheel disposed on the connecting end, and a protecting hood for sheltering the grinder wheel, wherein the connecting end includes a limit member, and the limit member and the protecting hood include a fixing section and a plurality of fixing holes for defining a fixing relation, and the limit member has a first position for defining a fixing relation with the protecting hood and a second position for releasing the fixing relation, such that the angle of the protecting hood can be adjusted and the protecting hood displaces with respect to the body. With the foregoing measure, a user can adjust the fixing position of the protecting hood according to the grinding position and the angle of a work piece to improve the convenience of operation.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A rotary protecting hood of a pneumatic grinder, comprising a connecting end disposed on a pneumatic grinder body, a grinder wheel disposed on said connecting end, and a protecting hood for sheltering said grinder wheel, said connecting end including a limit member installed at said protecting hood, said limit member and said protecting hood including a fixing section and a plurality of fixing holes for constituting a fixing relation, said fixing section directly contacts said protecting hood adjacent to said plurality of fixing holes, said limit member has a first position for defining a fixing relation with said protecting hood and a second position for releasing said fixing relation, such that said protecting hood is displaceable with respect to said pneumatic grinder body to change the fixing position of one of said plurality of fixing holes.
2 . The rotary protecting hood of a pneumatic grinder of claim 1 , wherein said first position and said second position of said limit member are defined by a resilient member disposed between said connecting end and said limit member for storing power and resuming position.
3 . The rotary protecting hood of a pneumatic grinder of claim 2 , wherein said connecting end includes a depressed hole corresponding to said resilient member for limiting the position of said resilient member.
4 . The rotary protecting hood of a pneumatic grinder of claim 2 , wherein said limit member includes a pressing section and a top pressing section of said resilience member for a user to apply a force.
5 . The rotary protecting hood of a pneumatic grinder of claim 1 , wherein said plurality of fixing holes of said protecting hood are circular through holes and said fixing section is a protruded pillar.
6 . The rotary protecting hood of a pneumatic grinder of claim 2 , wherein said resilient member is a coil spring.
7 . The rotary protecting hood of a pneumatic grinder of claim 2 , wherein said resilient member contacts said limit member at a point.
8 . The rotary protecting hood of a pneumatic grinder of claim 1 , wherein said pneumatic grinder body has a front side and a rear side and side protecting hood is located next to said front said pneumatic body and said pressing section extends toward said front side of said pneumatic grinder body.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
