Method and apparatus for waste evacuation

Abstract

A method and apparatus for waste evacuation using an extendible and retractable hose for transferring the waste have been described.

1 . An apparatus comprising: 
 a waste storage tank halving an outlet;    a valve having an input and an output, said valve input in communication with said waste storage tank outlet;    an extendible hose for conveying waste having a first end and a second end, said extendible hose first end capable of being permanently rigidly attached so as to be in communication with said valve output; and    a nozzle having an input and an output, said nozzle input attached to said extendible hose second end.    
   
   
       2 . The apparatus of  claim 1  further comprising a vehicle having a width W into which said waste storage tank is mounted.  
   
   
       3 . The apparatus of  claim 2  wherein said extendible hose when fully extended is of a length>2W.  
   
   
       4 . The apparatus of  claim 2  wherein said extendible hose when fully retracted is of a length<W.  
   
   
       5 . The apparatus of  claim 2  wherein said extendible hose when fully retracted is in a sheath of length S, wherein W>S >W/2.  
   
   
       6 . A method comprising: 
 mounting in a vehicle a waste storage container having an output port such that said waste storage container output port is most proximally located to a side of said vehicle denoted as SideOne; and    locating in said vehicle an extendible hose in communication with said waste storage container output port and capable of extending from said vehicle on a side of said vehicle other than said SideOne.    
   
   
       7 . An apparatus comprising: 
 means for mounting in a vehicle a waste storage container having an output port such that said waste storage container output port is most proximally located to a side of said vehicle denoted as SideOne; and    means for locating in said vehicle an extendible hose in communication with said waste storage container output port and capable of extending from said vehicle on a side of said vehicle other than said SideOne.    
   
   
       8 . The apparatus of  claim 7  further comprising means for transferring waste from said waste storage container through said extendible hose to a waste receptacle.  
   
   
       9 . The apparatus of  claim 7  further comprising means for charging for said transferring waste from said waste storage container through said extendible hose to said waste receptacle.  
   
   
       10 . The apparatus of  claim 7  wherein said extending from said vehicle is accomplished by compressed air in communication with said extendible hose.  
   
   
       11 . The apparatus of  claim 10  wherein retracting an extended said extendible hose is accomplished by a Venturi tube suction side in communication with said extendible hose.
