Abstract

Systems and methods for visually displaying clickthrough, impression, and other data pertaining to webpages are provided. In various embodiments, such data can be displayed concurrently with a display of a tracked webpage. User indication of either an element on a tracked webpage or corresponding data can operate to visually highlight related features of the display. Implementation of the present invention may be accomplished by providing a user interface for retrieving downloaded webpages and corresponding data, a scheduler for scheduling the periodic download of tracked webpages, and one or more downloaders for downloading tracked webpages into a target directory.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A system for providing a webpage data display, comprising:
a subsystem for computing a target directory for a tracked webpage; a subsystem for scheduling periodic downloads of the tracked webpage into the target directory; a subsystem for downloading the tracked webpage into the target directory; a subsystem for accessing clickthrough data associated with links of the tracked webpage; and a subsystem for combining the tracked webpage as stored in the target directory and the clickthrough data associated with the links of the tracked webpage into a final report capable of being displayed, wherein the final report simultaneously displays the tracked webpage in a webpage display portion of said final report and the clickthrough data in a data display portion of said final report, and wherein said final report is configured to automatically highlight a webpage link in said webpage display portion of said final report when corresponding data is indicated in said data display portion of said final report and is further configured to highlight clickthrough data in said data display portion of said final report when a corresponding webpage link is indicated in said webpage display portion of said final report.

2 . A system according claim 1 , wherein the final report contains clickthrough data that is adjusted to reflect a time zone of the geographical area that the webpage is designed to serve.

3 . A system according claim 1 , further comprising a subsystem for generating a download log that identifies files associated with a tracked webpage.

4 . A system according claim 3 , further comprising a subsystem for setting a parameter that defines whether files associated with a tracked webpage will be identified in the download log.

5 . A system according claim 1 , wherein said subsystem for scheduling periodic downloads schedules periodic download of the tracked webpage such that the one or more target directories are substantially likely to contain a copy of the tracked webpage that reflects any recent changes to the webpage.

6 . A system according claim 1 , wherein subsystem for downloading the tracked webpage hashes link Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) when the tracked webpage is located.

7 . A system according claim 1 , wherein the final report displays corresponding demographic data about people who clicked a link on the tracked webpage when a feature of either the tracked webpage or the clickthrough data is indicated.

8 . An interactive webpage and clickthrough data display, comprising:
a webpage comprising a plurality of webpage links in a first portion of said display; clickthrough data associated with said plurality of webpage links in a second portion of said display; wherein a webpage link in said first portion of said display is automatically highlighted when corresponding clickthrough data is indicated in said second portion of said display, and wherein clickthrough data in said second portion of said display is automatically highlighted when a corresponding link in said webpage is indicated in said first portion of said display.

9 . The interactive webpage and clickthrough data display of claim 8 , wherein said webpage link in said first portion of said display is automatically highlighted when said webpage link in said first portion of said display is indicated.

10 . The interactive webpage and clickthrough data display of claim 8 , wherein said clickthrough data is indicated in said second portion of said display in said second portion of said display is automatically highlighted when said clickthrough data in said second portion of said display is indicated.

11 . The interactive webpage and clickthrough data display of claim 8 , said webpage comprising at least one content module and said interactive display system further comprising clickthrough data associated with said at least one content module in said second portion of said display.

12 . The interactive webpage and clickthrough data display of claim 11 , wherein said data associated with said at least one content module comprises a sum of clickthrough data associated with links in said content module.

13 . The interactive webpage and clickthrough data display of claim 11 , wherein a content module in said first portion of said display is automatically highlighted when corresponding clickthrough data is indicated in said second portion of said display, and wherein clickthrough data in said second portion of said display is automatically highlighted when a corresponding content module in said webpage is indicated in said first portion of said display.

14 . The interactive webpage and clickthrough data display of claim 8 , wherein said clickthrough data comprises a number of clicks on a link.

15 . The interactive webpage and clickthrough data display of claim 14 , wherein said number of clicks on a link is divided according to demographics of people who clicked such link.

16 . The interactive webpage and clickthrough data display of claim 14 , wherein highlighting said clickthrough data comprises expanding said number of clicks on a link to show demographic data of people who clicked such link.

17 . The interactive webpage and clickthrough data display of claim 14 , wherein said clickthrough data further comprises a time associated with said clicks on a link.

18 . The interactive webpage and clickthrough data display of claim 17 , wherein said time is adjusted for a time zone associated with a location of a person who clicked the link.

19 . An interactive webpage and clickthrough data display, comprising:
a webpage comprising a plurality of webpage links in a first portion of said display; clickthrough data associated with a webpage link in a second portion of said display; wherein said clickthrough data in said second portion of said display corresponds to a user indicated webpage link in said said first portion of said display.

20 . An interactive webpage and clickthrough data display of claim 19 , wherein said wherein said clickthrough data is divided according to demographics of people who clicked said webpage link.

21 . An interactive webpage and clickthrough data display of claim 20 , further comprising clickthrough data associated with said plurality of webpage links in a third portion of said display, and wherein said clickthrough data in said second portion of said display alternatively corresponds to a user indicated clickthrough data in said third portion of said display.
