Claims
Abstract
A light handling device, tolerant of elevated heat and heating cycles, includes a plurality of separate walls bounding a surrounded area, the walls reflecting light transmitted through the bounded area. The device includes a first composition adhesive engaged with at least two of the walls for securing the two walls together, and a second, different composition adhesive engaged with the same at least two of the walls for securing the two walls together.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A light handling device tolerant of elevated heat and heating cycles, the device including:
a plurality of separate walls bounding a surrounded area, the walls reflecting light transmitted through the bounded area; a first composition adhesive engaged with at least two of the walls for securing the two walls together; and a second, different composition adhesive engaged with the same at least two of the walls for securing the two walls together.
2 . A device as set forth in claim 1 , wherein the first adhesive has a composition that results in a first setting duration and the second adhesive has a composition that results in a second setting duration, the first setting duration being shorter than the second duration.
3 . A device as set forth in claim 1 , wherein the first adhesive is engaged with the at least two of the walls at a first location and the second adhesive is engaged with the at least two of the walls at a second, different location.
4 . A device as set forth in claim 3 , wherein the second adhesive overlays at least a portion of the first adhesive.
5 . A device as set forth in claim 1 , wherein the first adhesive has a composition that results in a first strength rating and the second adhesive has a composition that results in a second, different strength rating, the second strength rating being greater than the first strength rating.

A device as set forth in claim 1 , wherein the first adhesive has a composition that results in a first tolerance of elevated heat and the second adhesive has a composition that results in a second, different tolerance of elevated heat, the second tolerance of elevated heat being greater than the first tolerance of elevated heat.

A device as set forth in claim 1 , wherein the first adhesive has a composition that results in a first tolerance of heating cycles and the second adhesive has a composition that results in a second, different tolerance of heating cycles, the second tolerance of heating cycles being greater than the first tolerance of heating cycles.
8 . A device as set forth in claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first and second adhesives is a UV curing adhesive.
9 . A device as set forth in claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first and second adhesives is an epoxy adhesive.
10 . A device as set forth in claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first and second adhesives is a silicone-based adhesive.
11 . A device as set forth in claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first and second adhesives is a ceramic adhesive.
12 . A device as set forth in claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first and second adhesives is an inorganic adhesive.
