Abstract
A method is disclosed for facilitating group play by a team of members associated with a casino slot club. The method includes the steps of identifying the team members, identifying a set of rules designated by the team for rewarding the team members when a payout is due to one of the team members, detecting a payout due to one of the team members, and rewarding the team members in accordance with the set of rules.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method comprising:
determining a set of players that are associated with each other; determining
a first level of rewards that corresponds to a first magnitude of activity, and
a second level of rewards that corresponds to a second magnitude of activity;
determining that a payout is due to a player of the set of players; determining a magnitude of activity achieved by the set of players; and rewarding, in response to the step of determining that a payout is due to a player, the set of players based on one of
the first level of rewards if the magnitude of activity satisfies the first magnitude of activity achieved by the set of players, and
the second level of rewards if the magnitude of activity satisfies the second magnitude of activity achieved by the set of players.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the step of determining a first level of rewards comprises:
determining
a first level of rewards that corresponds to a first activity goal, and
a second level of rewards that corresponds to a second activity goal.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the step of determining a first level of rewards comprises:
determining
a first level of rewards that corresponds to a first amount of money, and
a second level of rewards that corresponds to a second amount of money;
wherein the step of determining a magnitude of activity comprises: determining an amount of money wagered by the set of players; and wherein the step of rewarding comprises: rewarding, in response to the step of determining that a payout is due to a player, the set of players based on one of
the first level of rewards if the amount of money wagered by the set of players is greater than the first amount of money, and
the second level of rewards if the amount of money wagered by the set of players is greater than the second amount of money.
4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the step of determining an amount of money comprises:
determining an amount of money wagered by the set of players in a predetermined amount of time.
5 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the step of determining an amount of money comprises:
determining a respective amount of money wagered by each of the players of the set of players; and summing the respective amounts.
6 . An apparatus, comprising:
a storage device; and a processor in communication with the storage device, the storage device storing
a program for controlling the processor; and
the processor operative with the program to:
determine a set of players that are associated with each other;
determine
a first level of rewards that corresponds to a first magnitude of activity, and
a second level of rewards that corresponds to a second magnitude of activity;
determine that a payout is due to a player of the set of players;
determine a magnitude of activity achieved by the set of players; and
reward, in response to the step of determining that a payout is due to a player, the set of players based on one of
the first level of rewards if the magnitude of activity satisfies the first magnitude of activity achieved by the set of players, and
the second level of rewards if the magnitude of activity satisfies the second magnitude of activity achieved by the set of players.
7 . A medium storing instructions adapted to be executed by a processor to:
determine a set of players that are associated with each other; determine
a first level of rewards that corresponds to a first magnitude of activity, and
a second level of rewards that corresponds to a second magnitude of activity;
determine that a payout is due to a player of the set of players; determine a magnitude of activity achieved by the set of players; and reward, in response to the step of determining that a payout is due to a player, the set of players based on one of
the first level of rewards if the magnitude of activity satisfies the first magnitude of activity achieved by the set of players, and the second level of rewards if the magnitude of activity satisfies the second magnitude of activity achieved by the set of players.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
