Garment hanger with size tab

Abstract

A garment hanger and a size tab, the size tab is suitable for a garment hanger having a metallic hook portion and for a plastic garment hanger in order to fast distinguish the sizes of garments on the garment hangers.

1 . A size tab for a garment hanger comprising: 
 a hollow annular main body with a longitudinal opening; said main body is provided on its inner surface with a first engaging beam, a second engaging beam, a third engaging beam and a fourth engaging beam extending respectively from said inner surface toward a center of said inner surface;    wherein said third and said fourth engaging beams are provided on their ends each with a small engaging protrusion;    a receiving portion is formed among and at ends of said first, second, third and fourth engaging beams; so that said receiving portion is engaged with said engaging portion when said size tab is slipped over with said opening and engaged with said engaging portion of said garment hanger, thereby said size tab is not subject to dropping.    
   
   
       2 . The size tab for a garment hanger as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said first and fourth engaging beams are provided very close to and at two lateral sides of said opening.  
   
   
       3 . The size tab for a garment hanger as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said each small engaging protrusion is in the shape of a hook.  
   
   
       4 . The size tab for a garment hanger as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein a fifth engaging beam is provided between said first and second engaging beams, and a sixth engaging beam is provided between said third and fourth engaging beams.  
   
   
       5 . The size tab for a garment hanger as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said garment hanger has a metallic hook portion, and said engaging portion is exactly said metallic hook portion.  
   
   
       6 . The size tab for a garment hanger as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said garment hanger is made of plastic, said plastic garment hanger has a hook portion with a neck portion beneath said hook portion, said neck portion has a first and a second rib; when said size tab is slipped over with said opening and engaged with said engaging portion, said receiving portion is engaged with said first rib, while said small engaging protrusions of said second and third engaging beams engage said second rib, thereby said size tab is not subject to dropping.  
   
   
       7 . The size tab for a garment hanger as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said size tab is formed by integrally injection molding of plastic.  
   
   
       8 . A combination of a garment hanger with a size tab comprising: 
 a main body of said garment hanger selected from any of garment hangers having metallic hook portions and plastic garment hangers, said main body of said garment hanger has an engaging portion;    a size tab having a hollow annular main body with a longitudinal opening, said main body is provided on its inner surface with a first engaging beam, a second engaging beam, a third engaging beam and a fourth engaging beam extending respectively from said inner surface toward a center of said inner surface;    wherein said third and fourth engaging beams are provided on their ends each with a small engaging protrusion; and    wherein a receiving portion is formed among and at ends of said first, second, third and fourth engaging beams; so that said receiving portion is engaged with said engaging portion when said size tab is slipped over with said opening and engaged with said engaging portion, thereby said size tab is not subject to dropping.    
   
   
       9 . The combination of a garment hanger with a size tab as claimed in  claim 8 , wherein said engaging portion is a metallic hook portion.  
   
   
       10 . The combination of a garment hanger with a size tab as claimed in  claim 8 , wherein said garment hanger made of plastic has a neck portion, said engaging portion is provided on said neck portion, and said engaging portion has a first and a second rib; when said size tab is slipped over with said opening and engaged with said engaging portion, said receiving portion is engaged with said first rib, while said small engaging protrusions of said second and third engaging beams engage said second rib.  
   
   
       11 . The combination of a garment hanger with a size tab as claimed in  claim 8 , wherein said each small engaging protrusion is in the shape of a hook.  
   
   
       12 . A garment hanger with a size tab comprising: 
 a main body of said garment hanger formed by integrally injection molding of plastic, said main body has a hook portion with a neck portion beneath said hook portion, said neck portion has a first and a second rib;    a size tab including a hollow annular main body with a longitudinal opening; said main body is provided on its inner surface with a first engaging beam, a second engaging beam, a third engaging beam and a fourth engaging beam extending respectively from said inner surface toward the center of said inner surface;    wherein said second and third engaging beams are provided on their ends each with a small engaging protrusion; and    wherein a receiving portion is formed among and at ends of said first, second, third and fourth engaging beams to receive said neck portion; when said size tab is slipped over with said opening and engaged with said neck portion of said hook portion, said receiving portion is engaged with said first rib, while said small engaging protrusions of said second and third engaging beams engage said second rib, thereby said size tab is not subject to dropping.    
   
   
       13 . The garment hanger with a size tab as claimed in  claim 12 , wherein said each small engaging protrusion is in the shape of a hook.  
   
   
       14 . The garment hanger with a size tab as claimed in  claim 12 , wherein a fifth engaging beam is provided between said first and second engaging beams, and a sixth engaging beam is provided between said third and fourth engaging beams.  
   
   
       15 . The garment hanger with a size tab as claimed in  claim 12 , wherein said size tab is formed by integrally injection molding of plastic.
