Abstract

A bat includes a hollow handle, a head portion mounted on a first end of the handle, a tail portion mounted on a second end of the handle, and an elastic plate mounted in an inside of the handle. Thus, when the handle hits a ball, the elastic plate is deformed by the impact force applied by the ball, so that the elastic plate produces a reaction bouncing force to the handle to maintain the stiffness and strength of the handle and to enhance the hitting force of the handle so as to strike the ball exactly, thereby enhancing the striking effect of the handle efficiently.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A bat, comprising:
a hollow handle; a head portion mounted on a first end of the handle; a tail portion mounted on a second end of the handle; an elastic plate mounted in an inside of the handle.

2 . The bat in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the elastic plate has a shape of a coil spring.

3 . The bat in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the elastic plate has an outer diameter substantially equal to an inner diameter of the handle.

4 . The bat in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the elastic plate is closely fit in an inner wall of the handle.

5 . The bat in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the elastic plate is not connected to an inner wall of the handle.

6 . The bat in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the first end of the handle has a determined diameter to receive the elastic plate, and the second end of the handle has a tapered section to stop the elastic plate.

7 . The bat in accordance with claim 6 , wherein the elastic plate has a first end stopped by the head portion and a second end stopped by the tapered section of the second end of the handle, so that the elastic plate is positioned in the inside of the handle and cannot slip in the inside of the handle.

8 . The bat in accordance with claim 1 , further comprising an intermediate layer mounted in the inside of the handle and located between the elastic plate and the handle.

9 . The bat in accordance with claim 8 , wherein the intermediate layer is made of plastic material.

10 . The bat in accordance with claim 8 , wherein the intermediate layer has an optimum diameter ranged between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm.

11 . The bat in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the elastic plate together with the intermediate layer is closely fit in an inner wall of the handle.

12 . The bat in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the elastic plate together with the intermediate layer is not connected to an inner wall of the handle 2 .
