Blow molded septic tank cover

Abstract

A septic tank cover formed of a blow molded body having an interior and an exterior. The septic tank cover body is formed from one or more layers of plastic material that are chosen for their chemical, mechanical or other properties. The septic tank cover body includes a port for inserting ballast or insulation into the interior of the cover. Additionally, septic tank cover includes non-slip and locking features.

1 . A blow molded cover, having a top surface, a bottom surface, a perimeter and an interior, for engaging a service opening in a septic tank, said cover comprising: 
 a gasket proximate said perimeter for sealing said service opening;    anti-slip features on said cover's top surface;    a port for introducing material into said cover's interior; and    a plurality of standoffs formed in said cover's bottom surface for providing rigidity to said cover.    
   
   
       2 . The blow molded cover of  claim 1  further comprising threads for engaging a threaded service opening.
