Abstract

An organ derived from genetic material is inserted in a patient's body. Genetic material is inserted at a selected site in the body to grow an organ.

         6 . A method of repairing a dead portion of a pre-existing heart comprising the steps of placing a growth factor at a selected area of a human patient and forming a new artery thereby causing said dead portion of said heart to be repaired.  
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein said growth factor comprises a multifactorial and non-specific cell.  
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein said growth factor is placed at said selected area by intravenous injection.  
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein said cell is placed at said selected area by intravenous injection.  
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein said growth factor is placed at said selected area by intraluminal injection.  
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein said cell is placed at said selected area by intraluminal injection.  
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein said growth factor is placed at said selected area by an angioplasty balloon.  
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein said cell is placed at said selected area by an angioplasty balloon.  
     
     
         14 . A method of repairing a damaged portion of a pre-existing heart comprising the steps of: placing a growth factor at a selected area of a human patient; and forming a new artery thereby causing said damaged portion of said heart to be repaired.  
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 14 , wherein said growth factor comprises a multifactorial and non-specific cell.  
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 14 , wherein said growth factor is placed at said selected area by intravenous injection.  
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 15 , wherein said cell factor is placed at said selected area by intravenous injection.  
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 14 , wherein said growth factor is placed at said selected area by intraluminal injection.  
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 15 , wherein said cell factor is placed at said selected area by intraluminal injection.
