Abstract
A herbicidal mixture comprising A) a 3-heterocyclyl-substituted benzoyl derivative selected from the group of 4-[2-chloro-3-(3-methyl-isoxazol-5-yl)-4-methylsulfonylbenzoyl]-1-methyl-5-hydroxy-1H-pyrazole, 4-[2-methyl-3-(3-methyl-isoxazol-5-yl)-4-methylsulfonyl-benzoyl]-1-methyl-5-hydroxy-1H-pyrazole and 4-[2-methyl-3-(4,5-dihydro-isoxazol-3-yl)-4-methylsulfonylbenzoyl]-1-methyl-5-hydroxy-1H-pyrazole; or one of its environmentally compatible salts, B) a safening effective amount of cloquintocet, or its environmentally compatible salts, amides, esters and hydrates; and, if desired, at least one herbicidal compound from the group of the acetyl-CoA carb-oxylase inhibitors (ACC), acetolactate synthase inhibitors (ALS), amides, auxin herbicides, auxin transport inhibitors, carotenoid biosynthesis inhibitors, enolpyruvylshikimate 3-phosphate synthase inhibitors (EPSPS), glutamine synthetase inhibitors, lipid biosynthesis inhibitors, mitosis inhibitors, protoporphyrinogen IX oxidase inhibitors, photosynthesis inhibitors, synergists, growth substances, cell wall biosynthesis inhibitors and a variety of other herbicides. Compositions comprising these mixtures, processes for the preparation of these compositions and their use for controlling undesired plants.

A) a 3-heterocyclyl-substituted benzoyl derivative selected from the group consisting of 4-[2-chloro-3-(3-methyl-isoxazol-5-yl)-4-methylsulfonyl-benzoyl]-1-methyl-5-hydroxy-1H-pyrazole, 4-[2-methyl-3-(3-methyl-isoxazol-5-yl)-4-methylsulfonyl-benzoyl]-1-methyl-5-hydroxy-1H-pyrazole and 4-[2-methyl-3-(4,5-dihydroisoxazol-3-yl)-4-methylsulfonylbenzoyl]-1-methyl-5-hydroxy-1H-pyrazole;
or one of its environmentally compatible salts,
B) a safening effective amount of cloquintocet, or its environmentally compatible salts, amides, esters and hydrates; and, optionally, C) at least one herbicidal selected compound from the group consisting of the acetyl-CoA carb-oxylase inhibitors (ACC), acetolactate synthase inhibitors (ALS), amides, auxin herbicides, auxin transport inhibitors, carotenoid biosynthesis inhibitors, enolpyruvylshikimate 3-phosphate synthase inhibitors (EPSPS), glutamine synthetase inhibitors, lipid biosynthesis inhibitors, mitosis inhibitors, protoporphyrinogen IX oxidase inhibitors, photosynthesis inhibitors, synergists, growth substances, cell wall biosynthesis inhibitors and a variety of other herbicides.
2 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 comprising as component C) at least one herbicidal compound selected from the group consisting of:
cyclohexenone oxime ethers, phenoxyphenoxypropionic esters, arylaminopropionic acids, imidazolinones, pyrimidyl ethers, sulfonamides, sulfonylureas, pyridinecarboxylic acids, anilides, chloroacetanilides, thioureas, carbamates, dinitroanilines, pyridines, diphenyl ethers, oxadiazoles, cyclic imides, pyrazoles, benzothiadiazinones, dinitrophenols, dipyridylenes, ureas, phenols, triazines triazinones uracils biscarbamates oxiranes aryloxyalkanoic acids, quinolinecarboxylic acids, dichloropropionic acids, dihydrobenzofurans, phenylacetic acids, or the environmentally compatible salts of each thereof.
3 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 comprising as component C) at least one herbicidal compound selected from the group consisting of:

clodinafop-propargyl, diclofop-methyl, fenoxaprop-ethyl or fenoxaprop-P-ethyl, imazapyr, imazaquin, imazamethabenz-methyl (imazame), imazamox, imazapic or imazethapyr, florasulam, flumetsulam or metosulam, bensulfuron-methyl, cyclosulfamuron, nicosulfuiron, rimsulfuron, tritosulfuron, foramsulfuron or iodosulfuron, diflufenzopyr, diflufenican, isoxaflutole or mesotrione, glyphosate or sulfosate, glufosinate-ammonium, dimethenamid, S-dimethenamid, acetochlor, metazachlor, metolachlor or S-metolachlor, pendimethalin, carfentrazone-ethyl or cinidon-ethyl, ET-751, JV 485 or nipyraclofen pyridate, bentazone, paraquat-dichloride, chlorotoluron or isoproturon, bromoxynil, chloridazon, atrazine, metamitron or metribuzin, clomeprop, dichlorprop, dichlorprop-P (2,4-DP-P), fluoroxypyr, MCPA, mecoprop, mecoprop-P or triclopyr, dicamba, quinclorac or quinmerac, or the environmentally compatible salts of each thereof.
5 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 comprising as component A) 4-[2-methyl-3-(4,5-dihydroisoxazol-3-yl)-4-methylsulfonylbenzoyl]-1-methyl-5-hydroxy-1H-pyrazole, or one of its environmentally compatible salts.
6 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 comprising as component B) cloquintocet “acid”, cloqintocet mexyl or cloquintocet mexyl×n hydrate (n=2 to 6).
7 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 comprising as active ingredients only one 3-heterocyclyl-substituted benzoyl derivative (component A) and one safener (component B).
8 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 comprising as active ingredients only one 3-heterocyclyl-substituted benzoyl derivative (component A), one safener (component B), and one compound of group C) (Component C).
9 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 wherein the ratios of the compounds of the groups A) and B) range from 1:0.002 to 1:800.
10 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 wherein the ratios of the compounds of the groups A) and C) range from 1:0.001 to 1:500.
11 . A herbicidal composition comprising a herbicidally active amount of a safened herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 , at least one inert liquid and/or solid carrier and, if desired, at least one surfactant.
12 . A process for the preparation of a herbicidal composition as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the compounds of group A), B), and optionally, C), at least one inert liquid and/or solid carrier and, and optionally, at least one surfactant are mixed.
13 . A method for controlling undesired vegetation, which comprises applying a synergistic herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 , during and/or after the emergence of undesired plants, it being possible for the active compounds of the groups A), B) and, if desired and optionally, C) to be applied simultaneously or in succession.
14 . A method of controlling undesired vegetation in crops as claimed in claim 13 , wherein the leaves of the crop plants and of the undesired plants are treated.
15 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 wherein the component C) is an acetyl-CoA carboxylase inhibitor selected from the group consisting of alloxydim, clethodim, cloproxydim, cycloxydim, sethoxydim, tralkoxydim, butroxydim, clefoxydim, tepraloxydim, clodinafop-propargyl, cyhalofop-butyl, diclofop-methyl, fenoxaprop-ethyl, fenoxaprop-P-ethyl, fenthiapropethyl, fluazifop-butyl, fluazifop-P-butyl, haloxyfop-ethoxyethyl, haloxyfop-methyl, haloxyfop-P-methyl, isoxapyrifop, propaquizafop, quizalofop-ethyl, quizalofop-P-ethyl, quizalofop-tefuryl, flamprop-methyl and flamprop-isopropyl.

A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 wherein the component C) is an acetolactate synthase inhibitor selected from the group consisting of imazapyr, imazaquin, imazamethabenz-methyl (imazame), imazamox, imazapic, imazethapyr, pyrithiobac-acid, pyrithiobac-sodium, bispyribac-sodium, KIH-6127, pyribenzoxym, florasulam, flumetsulam, metosulam, amidosulfuron, azimsulfuron, bensulfuron-methyl, chlorimuron-ethyl, chlorsulfuron, cinosulfuron, cyclosulfamuron, ethametsulfuron-methyl, ethoxysulfuron, flazasulfuron, halosulfuron-methyl, imazosulfuron, metsulfuron-methyl, nicosulfuron, primisulfuron-methyl, prosulfuron, pyrazosulfuron-ethyl, rimsulfuron, sulfometuron-methyl, thifensulfuron-methyl, triasulfuron, tribenuron-methyl, triflusulfuron-methyl, tritosulfuron, sulfosulfuron, foramsulfuron and iodosulfuron.
17 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 wherein the component C) is an amide selected from the group consisting of allidochlor (CDAA), benzoylprop-ethyl, bromobutide, chlorthiamid, diphenamid, etobenzanid (benzchlomet), fluthiamide, fosamin and monalide.
18 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 wherein the component C) is an auxin herbicide selected from the group consisting of clopyralid, picloram, and 2,4-D or benazolin.
19 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 wherein the component C) is an auxin transport inhibitor selected from the group consisting of naptalame and diflufenzopyr.
20 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 wherein the component C) is a carotenoid biosynthesis inhibitor selected from the group consisting of benzofenap, clomazone (dimethazone), diflufenican, fluorochloridone, fluridone, pyrazolynate, pyrazoxyfen, isoxaflutole, isoxachlortole, mesotrione, sulcotrione (chlorrmesulone), ketospiradox, flurtamone, norflurazon and amitrol.
21 . A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 wherein the component C) is a enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase inhibitors (EPSPS) selected from the group consisting of glypho sate, sulfo sate, glutamine synthetase inhibitors, and bilanafos (bialaphos) and flufosinate-ammonium.

A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 wherein the component C) is a lipid biosynthesis inhibitor selected from the group consisting of anilides, anilofos, mefenacet, chloroacetanilides, dimethenamid, S-dimethenamid, acetochlor, alachlor, butachlor, butenachlor, diethatyl-ethyl, dimethachlor, metazachlor, metolachlor, S-metolachlor, pretilachlor, propachlor, prynachlor, terbuchlor, thenylchlor, xylachlor, butylate, cycloate, di-allate, dimepiperate, EPTC, esprocarb, molinate, pebulate, prosulfocarb, thiobencarb (benthiocarb), tri-allate, vemolate, benfuiresate and perfluidone.

A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 wherein the component C) is a mitosis inhibitor selected from the group consisting of asulam, carbetamid, chlorpropham, orbencarb, pronamid (propyzamid), propham, tiocarbazil, benefin, butralin, dinitramin, ethalfluralin, fluchloralin, oryzalin, pendimethalin, prodiamine, trifluralin, dithiopyr, thiazopyr, butamifos, chlorthal-dimethyl (DCPA) and maleic hydrazide.

A herbicidal mixture as claimed in claim 1 wherein the component C) is a protoporphyrinogen IX oxidase inhibitor selected from the group consisting of acifluorfen, acifluorfen-sodium, aclonifen, bifenox, chlornitrofen (CNP), ethoxyfen, fluorodifen, fluoroglycofen-ethyl, fomesafen, furyloxyfen, lactofen, nitrofen, nitrofluorfen, oxyfluorfen, oxadiargyl, oxadiazon, azafenidin, butafenacil, carfentrazone-ethyl, cinidon-ethyl, flumiclorac-pentyl, flumioxazin, flumipropyn, flupropacil, fluthiacet-methyl, sulfentrazone, thidiazimin, ET-75 1, JV 485 and nipyraclofen.
