Abstract
A jewelry cabinet with adjustably positionable jewelry hangers includes a cabinet body with opposed side walls, a bottom wall, a top wall, and a back wall; a hanger base connected to the back wall between the side, top, and bottom walls, the hanger base having a back plate and a face plate penetrated by a plurality of apertures and having hanger retaining fingers extending between the back plate and face plate to frictionally retain a support rod portion of jewelry hangers inserted through the apertures in the face plate. Each jewelry hanger provides for the separated placement of two items of jewelry and a set of earrings on the hanger. The cabinet is provided with at least one and more preferably two or three overlapping mirrored doors. Additional holders such as trays and drawers are also provided.

a cabinet body including a back wall, a first side wall connected to said back wall and extending outwardly therefrom in perpendicular relation, a second side wall connected to said back wall in opposed parallel relation to said first side wall, a bottom wall connected to said back wall and extending outwardly therefrom between said first and second side walls, and a top wall connected to said back wall in opposed relation to said bottom wall and extending outwardly from said back wall; a hanger base including a back plate configured and dimensioned to fit within said cabinet body against said back wall between said first side wall, said second side wall, said bottom wall, and said top wall, said back plate connected to said back wall, a face plate of the same configuration and dimension as said back plate, said face plate disposed parallel to said back plate and connected thereto with a space between said face plate and said back plate, said face plate being penetrated by a plurality of apertures, and a hanger retention means disposed between said back plate and said face plate for supporting and retaining jewelry hangers; a jewelry hanger having a first end and a second end, a support rod portion at said first end extending from said first end toward said second end a distance greater than the dimension of said space between said face plate and said back plate of said hanger base, said support rod portion having cross-sectional configuration and dimension to be received through said apertures in said face plate, a first jewelry holding means for holding a first piece of jewelry placed on said hanger, said first jewelry holding means disposed adjacent to said support rod portion between said support rod portion and said second end of said hanger, a second jewelry holding means for holding a second piece of jewelry placed on said hanger, said second jewelry holding means disposed between said first jewelry holding means and said second end of said hanger, and an earring holding means disposed and connected at said second end of said hanger.

The jewelry cabinet of claim 1 , wherein said hanger retention means comprises a plurality of flexible fingers disposed between said back plate and said face plate of said hanger base in closely spaced parallel relation to each other and in perpendicular relation to said back plate and to said face plate, to receive said support said rod portion of said hanger between adjacent ones of said fingers.
3 . The jewelry cabinet of claim 2 , wherein each of said fingers is connected to said back plate of said hanger base.

The jewelry cabinet of claim 1 , wherein said hanger retention means comprises a plurality of generally spherical beads retained between said back plate and said face plate of said hanger base in closely spaced relation to each other, to receive said support rod portion of said hanger between adjacent ones of said beads, each of said beads being sufficiently large to prevent passage of said beads through said apertures in said face plate.
5 . The jewelry cabinet of claim 1 , wherein said first jewelry holding means comprises a first depression formed in said hanger, and wherein said second jewelry holding means comprises a second depression formed in said hanger.

The jewelry cabinet of claim 1 , wherein said jewelry hanger is an elongate linear rod, and wherein said first jewelry holder means comprises a first holder disk with an aperture formed therein, said first holder disk disposed on and connected to said rod with said rod extending through said aperture in said first holder disk, and wherein said second jewelry holder means comprises a second holder disk with an aperture formed therein, said second holder disk disposed on and connected to said rod with said rod extending through said aperture in said second holder disk.
7 . The jewelry cabinet of claim 1 , wherein said earring holding means comprises a generally planar earring plate, said earring plate connected to said second end of said hanger with said plane of said earring plate generally perpendicular thereto.
8 . The jewelry cabinet of claim 7 , wherein said earring plate is penetrated by a pair of apertures, each for the engagement of an earring therein.
9 . The jewelry cabinet of claim 1 , wherein said cabinet body further includes a first door pivotally connected to one of said first side wall and said second side wall.
10 . The jewelry cabinet of claim 9 , wherein said first door has an inner face and an outer face, and wherein said door includes a first mirror connected to said inner face.
11 . The jewelry cabinet of claim 10 , wherein said first door further includes a second mirror connected to said outer face.
12 . The jewelry cabinet of claim 9 , wherein said cabinet body further includes an inner door pivotally connected to the other of said first side wall and said second side wall such that said first door and said inner door may be positioned in overlying parallel relation to each other and in parallel relation to said back wall.
13 . The jewelry cabinet of claim 12 , wherein said first door has an inner face and an outer face, said inner door has an inner face and an outer face, wherein said first door further includes a first mirror connected to said outer face and a second mirror connected to said inner face, and wherein said inner door further includes a third mirror connected to said outer face of said inner door.

The jewelry cabinet of claim 12 , wherein said cabinet body further includes an intermediate door pivotally connected to the same one of said side walls as said inner door, such that said first door, said intermediate door, and said inner door may be positioned in overlying parallel relation to each other and in parallel relation to said back wall.

The jewelry cabinet of claim 14 , wherein said first door includes an outer face and an inner face, said intermediate door includes an outer face and an inner face, and said inner door includes an outer face and an inner face, wherein said first door includes a first mirror connected to said outer face of said first door and a second mirror connected to said inner face of said first door, wherein said intermediate door includes a third mirror connected to said outer face of said intermediate door and a fourth mirror connected to said inner face of said intermediate door, and wherein said inner door includes a fifth mirror connected to said outer face of said inner door.
16 . The jewelry cabinet of claim 1 , further comprising a jewelry tray having a rear wall, said rear wall of said tray connected to said back wall of said cabinet body so as to connect said tray within said cabinet body.
17 . The jewelry cabinet of claim 1 , further comprising a drawer unit including a drawer and a surrounding frame with a rear wall, said rear wall of said surrounding frame connected to said back wall of said cabinet body so as to connect said drawer unit within said cabinet body.
18 . A jewelry cabinet with adjustably positionable multi-item jewelry hangers, comprising,
a cabinet body including a back wall, a first side wall connected to said back wall and extending outwardly therefrom in perpendicular relation, a second side wall connected to said back wall in opposed parallel relation to said first side wall, a bottom wall connected to said back wall and extending outwardly therefrom between said first and second side walls in perpendicular relation to said back wall, a top wall connected to said back wall in opposed relation to said bottom wall and extending outwardly from said back wall in perpendicular relation thereto, hanger connection means disposed on and connected to said back wall for the removable connection of jewelry hangers thereto, and a door pivotally connected to one of said first and second side walls; a plurality of jewelry hangers each having a first end and a second end, each of said hangers removably connectable at said first end to said hanger connection means of said cabinet body, having first jewelry holding means for holding a first piece of jewelry placed on said hanger, said first jewelry holding means disposed between said first and second ends of said hanger, a second jewelry holding means for holding a second piece of jewelry placed on said hanger, said second jewelry holding means disposed between said first jewelry holding means and said second end of said hanger, and an earring holding means disposed and connected at said second end of said hanger.

The jewelry cabinet of claim 18 , wherein said hanger connection means comprises a magnetic plate connected to said back wall within said cabinet body, and wherein each of said jewelry hangers includes a magnet connected to said first end of said hanger for removably connecting said hanger to said magnetic plate.

The jewelry cabinet of claim 18 , wherein said hanger connection means comprises a hanger base including a back plate configured and dimensioned to fit within said cabinet body against said back wall between said first side wall, said second side wall, said bottom wall, and said top wall, said back plate connected to said back wall, a face plate of the same configuration and dimension as said back plate, said face plate disposed parallel to said back plate and connected thereto with a space between said face plate and said back plate, said face plate being penetrated by a plurality of apertures, and hanger retention means disposed between said back plate and said face plate for supporting and retaining said jewelry hangers, and wherein each said jewelry hanger further includes a support rod portion at said first end extending from said first end toward said second end a distance greater than the dimension of said space between said face plate and said back plate of said hanger base, said support rod portion having cross-sectional configuration and dimension to be received through said apertures in said face plate for removably connecting said hanger to said back wall of said cabinet body through said hanger base.

The jewelry cabinet of claim 18 , wherein said door is an outer door, wherein said cabinet body further includes an inner door pivotally connected to the other of said first side wall and said second side wall such that said outer door and said inner door may be positioned in overlying parallel relation to each other and in parallel relation to said back wall, wherein said outer door has an inner face and an outer face, said inner door has an inner face and an outer face, wherein said outer door further includes a first mirror connected to said outer face of said outer door and a second mirror connected to said inner face of said outer door, and wherein said inner door further includes a third mirror connected to said outer face of said inner door.

The jewelry cabinet of claim 21 , wherein said cabinet body further includes an intermediate door pivotally connected to the same one of said first side wall and said second side wall as said inner door, such that said outer door, said intermediate door, and said inner door may be positioned in overlying parallel relation to each other and in parallel relation to said back wall, wherein said outer door includes an outer face and an inner face, said intermediate door includes an outer face and an inner face, and said inner door includes an outer face and an inner face, wherein said outer door includes a first mirror connected to said outer face of said outer door and a second mirror connected to said inner face of said outer door, wherein said intermediate door includes a third mirror connected to said outer face of said intermediate door and a fourth mirror connected to said inner face of said intermediate door, and wherein said inner door includes a fifth mirror connected to said outer face of said inner door.

The jewelry cabinet of claim 20 , wherein said hanger retention means comprises a plurality of flexible fingers disposed between said back plate and said face plate and connected to said back plate of said hanger base in closely spaced parallel relation to each other and in perpendicular relation to said back plate and to said face plate, to receive said support said rod portion of said hangers between adjacent ones of said fingers.
24 . The jewelry cabinet of claim 18 , wherein said first jewelry holding means comprises a first depression formed in said hangers and said second jewelry holding means comprises a second depression formed in said hangers.
