Abstract

A pleated blind includes a blind body having a plurality of pleated portions each having a pleated edge, and a limit cord secured to the pleated edges of the pleated portions of the blind body. When the pleated portions are moved, the maximum distance between any two adjacent pleated edges of the pleated portions is limited by the limit cord, so that the open distance of each of the pleated portions is limited by the limit cord to reach a determined value. Thus, each of the pleated portions will not be opened excessively due to improper operation by a user, thereby preventing either one of the pleated portions from being deformed or distorted due to an overload so as to enhance the outer appearance of the pleated blind.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A pleated blind, comprising:
a blind body having a plurality of pleated portions each having a pleated edge; a limit cord secured to the pleated edges of some of the pleated portions of the blind body to limit a distance between the pleated edges of the pleated portions of the blind body.

2 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the limit cord is secured to the pleated edge of each of the pleated portions of the blind body to limit a distance between any two adjacent pleated edges of the pleated portions of the blind body.

3 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the blind body is mounted on a headrail, and the pleated edge of an uppermost one of the pleated portions of the blind body is attached to the headrail by the limit cord.

4 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 1 , wherein a maximum distance between any two adjacent pleated edges of the pleated portions of the blind body is limited by the limit cord, so that an open distance of each of the pleated portions of the blind body is limited by the limit cord to reach a determined value.

5 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the pleated edge of each of the pleated portions of the blind body is serially attached to the limit cord.

6 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the pleated edges of the pleated portions of the blind body are equally spaced from each other by restriction of the limit cord.

7 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the pleated edge of each of the pleated portions of the blind body is attached to the limit cord by sewing.

8 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the pleated edge of each of the pleated portions of the blind body is attached to the limit cord by a high frequency melting process.

9 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the limit cord is serially secured to the pleated edge of each of the pleated portions of the blind body in a multi-state manner.

10 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the limit cord is extended into a side of each of the pleated portions of the blind body to reinforce a strength between the limit cord and the pleated edge of each of the pleated portions of the blind body.

11 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the pleated portions of the blind body are divided into several intervals each having a single pleated edge serially attached to the limit cord.

12 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 11 , wherein the intervals of the blind body are equally spaced from each other by restriction of the limit cord.

13 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 11 , wherein an open distance of each of the pleated portions in each of the intervals of the blind body is limited by the limit cord to reach a determined value.

14 . The pleated blind in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the pleated edge of each of the pleated portions of the blind body is attached to the limit cord by an adhesive.
