Container

Abstract

The invention relates to a container with a bottom shell ( 1 ) and a cover shell ( 2 ), and means for interlocking the cover shell with the bottom shell. It is proposed that the sustantially circular opening rim ( 3 ) of the bottom shell have at least two first sections ( 6, 6″, 6″, 6 ′″) provided with radial extension and each having at least one undercut ( 4, 4′, 4″, 4 ′″), that the cover shell ( 1 ) have at its opening rim ( 3 ′) at least two second sections ( 7, 7′, 7″, 7 ′″) corresponding to the first sections as far as the radial extension is concerned, that the second sections ( 7, 7′, 7″, 7 ′″) each have at least one undercut ( 5, 5′, 5″, 5 ′″) which corresponds to the undercut of the appertaining first section ( 6, 6″, 6″, 6 ′″) so that, during a rotation of bottom shell ( 1 ) relative to cover shell ( 2 ), interlocking takes place in the area of the undercuts of the first and the second appertaining sections.

1 . A container with a bottom shell and a cover shell, and with means for interlocking the cover shell with the bottom shell, comprising: 
 a circular opening rim of bottom shell having at least two first sections provided with a radial extension, each having at least one undercut;    an opening rim of cover shell having, at least two second sections corresponding to the radial extension of the first sections, each of the second sections having at least one undercut, which corresponds to the undercut of the appertaining first section so that, during a rotation of the bottom shell relative to the cover shell, interlocking in the area of the undercuts of the first and associated second sections takes place.    
   
   
       2 . A container according to  claim 1 , wherein the first section and the corresponding second section, have, in a cross section, the shape of the letter Z.  
   
   
       3 . A container according to  claim 1 , wherein the first section and the corresponding second section have, in a cross section, a profile that comprises three radial extension areas, between which at least one undercut and a vertical area is arranged.  
   
   
       4 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein the first section and the second section have an undercut that is designed thread-like.  
   
   
       5 . A container according to  claim 1 , wherein the first section and the second section have at least one thread cord.  
   
   
       6 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein the first section and the second section have ramps that correspond to each other.  
   
   
       7 . A container according to  claim 6 , wherein the ramps are designed thread-like.  
   
   
       8 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein the first sections and the second sections have a continually increasing radial extension.  
   
   
       9 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein the first section and the second section each have, in the area of their greatest radial distance from the center of the opening rim concerned, a marking.  
   
   
       10 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein the cover shell and/or the bottom shell have at least one recess.  
   
   
       11 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein the lower area of bottom shell and/or cover shell is designed polygonally.  
   
   
       12 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein bottom shell or cover shell is equipped with a gasket in the lock area.  
   
   
       13 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein, in the locked state, bottom shell and cover shell are situated on top of each other in at least one rim area.  
   
   
       14 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein rim area of cover shell is adjacent to the inside of the wall of bottom shell.  
   
   
       15 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein cover shell has a rim indent which extends into the interior of bottom shell.
