Packing module and packing assembly having the same

Abstract

A packing assembly that can include a plurality of display modules and can reduce transportation costs of the display modules by increasing the stacking rate of the display modules. The packing assembly includes a plurality of display modules and a plurality of packing modules stacked on top of one another, each packing module including a seating unit where at least one display module is seated, a first frame unit that surrounds at least a portion of the display module, and a protection member disposed between a signal transmitting member and the first frame unit.

1 . A packing module, comprising: 
 a seating unit adapted to seat at least one display module;    a first frame unit adapted to surround at least a portion of the at least one display module; and    a protection member arranged between a signal transmitting member of one of the at least one display module and the first frame unit.    
   
   
       2 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein the seating unit comprises a plurality of protrusions.  
   
   
       3 . the packing module of  claim 2 , wherein the plurality of protrusions are arranged along the seating unit.  
   
   
       4 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein an opening is arranged in at least one portion of the seating unit.  
   
   
       5 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein an anti-sliding layer is arranged on a portion of the seating unit and adapted to contact one of the at least one display module.  
   
   
       6 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein the first frame unit comprises a taper part adapted to guide one of the at least one display module on an inner surface of the first frame unit.  
   
   
       7 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein the first frame unit comprises a plurality of grabbing grooves on an inner surface thereof and adapted to accommodate one of the at least one display module.  
   
   
       8 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein the seating unit and the first frame unit are integrally arranged together.  
   
   
       9 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein the seating unit and the first frame unit are comprised of different materials.  
   
   
       10 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein the first frame unit has a greater strength than the seating unit.  
   
   
       11 . The packing module of  claim 1 , further comprising a second frame unit adapted to surround at least a portion of the first frame unit.  
   
   
       12 . The packing module of  claim 11 , wherein the first frame unit and the second frame unit are integrally arranged together.  
   
   
       13 . The packing module of  claim 11 , wherein the first frame unit, the second frame unit, and the seating unit are integrally arranged together.  
   
   
       14 . The packing module of  claim 11 , wherein the second frame unit has a greater strength than that of the first frame unit.  
   
   
       15 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein the signal transmitting member is a flexible printed cable.  
   
   
       16 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein the signal transmitting member is a tape carrier package.  
   
   
       17 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein the protection member is mounted on the first frame unit.  
   
   
       18 . The packing module of  claim 17 , wherein the protection member comprises a plurality of fixing plates and the first frame unit comprises a plurality of fixing protrusions.  
   
   
       19 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein the protection member is mounted on a chassis of one of the at least one display module.  
   
   
       20 . The packing module of  claim 1 , further comprising an exhaust pipe fixing hole arranged at an end of the protection member, the exhaust pipe fixing hole being adapted to accommodate insertion of an exhaust pipe of the display module.  
   
   
       21 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein the protection member comprises a first protection unit and a second protection unit coupled to the first protection unit.  
   
   
       22 . The packing module of  claim 21 , wherein one of the first protection unit and the second protection unit comprises at least one coupling groove and the other comprises a plurality of coupling protrusions adapted to couple the at least coupling groove.  
   
   
       23 . The packing module of  claim 1 , wherein the protection member comprises a synthetic resin.  
   
   
       24 . A packing assembly, comprising: 
 a plurality of display modules; and    a plurality of packing modules stacked on top of one another, each packing module includes: 
 a seating unit adapted to seat at least one of the plurality of display modules;  
 a first frame unit adapted to surround at least a portion of the at least one of the plurality of display modules; and  
 a protection member arranged between a signal transmitting member of the at least one of the plurality of display modules and the first frame unit.  
   
   
   
       25 . The packing assembly of  claim 24 , wherein a plurality of the seating units are horizontally arranged in each of the plurality of packing modules.  
   
   
       26 . The packing assembly of  claim 24 , wherein each of the plurality of display modules is horizontally seated in a corresponding one of the plurality of seating units.  
   
   
       27 . The packing assembly of  claim 24 , further comprising a plurality of fixing protrusions arranged on a lower part of each of the plurality of seating units.  
   
   
       28 . The packing assembly of  claim 24 , further comprising a plurality of connection members adapted to fix together the plurality of packing modules stacked on top of one another.  
   
   
       29 . The packing assembly of  claim 28 , wherein each of said plurality of connection members comprise: 
 a main body in the shape of a hollow cylinder; and    a wing part arranged around a circumference of the main body.    
   
   
       30 . The packing assembly of  claim 24 , further comprising a cover coupled to an upper part of an uppermost one of the plurality of packing modules.  
   
   
       31 . The packing assembly of  claim 24 , wherein a portion each of the plurality of display modules corresponding to a non-display region thereof contacts a corresponding seating unit.  
   
   
       32 . The packing assembly of  claim 24 , each of said packing modules further comprises a second frame unit adapted to surround at least a portion of the first frame unit.
